marl was trading at about 50-60 pence for ages, and then cash and shares offer came in - total value if held to completion was equal to 115-120 pence. Value was approx £100 m i seem to recall (that was for their 30% stake in hot maden)

Bought a few more in the last few mins. Couldn't buy more than 300k, had to do two trades to buy a total of 400k. Odd given all,the selling? Only the 100k buy currently showing.

Absolutely-trust them and wait is my view too.From what I can see the calibre and experience of the finance director is very solid and that is why I am fully expecting them to pull another rabbit out of the hat with the equity financing and also why I believe that this weird trading pattern may have something to do with it.Either that or it is Glencore arranged shorting for low ball bid post BFS.Specifically because they were forced sellers of their half of the project originally

Ditto that, just playing the waiting game meantime. Perplexed with the trading but it is what it is.
Looking at previous posts, let's not forget the BOD own circa 10% of the company, they therefore have probably the biggest personal interests in delivering success with these assets. Trust them and wait is my view.

Yes yes 5 or 6 times current price would set me up nicely to trade more stocks and hopefully retire early. Thats why I am here.

Purely from memory I think cap was around £30-40m then sold for around £200 but could be wrong. It was bouncing around 3-5p and sold for 10p. Others with better memories may be able to confirm or correct as I know a lot of the old MARLers lurk this board. They was always an unwritten affiliation between the two shares follower-wise

No worries , Do you recall what price ,market cap /offer was for Marl at the time It is the value /market cap not share price I am interested inEvery Co has different amount of shares in issue , so price is irrelevant ., unless you believe it of course !I think Strow maybe right ? You , the post FS financial agreement may have some bearing on recent activity hereI guess will find out just before pre BFS as big sellers will likely have completed by then

Sorry for not explaining my feeling on HZM which resulted in this flippant comment. I was in MARL for years and the price got ticked down daily for no apparent reason then an out of the blue offer came. That's how it feels here with the price action. I am probably wrong but still sore from that experience

Just had a quick add up about 130 trading days so far this year with an average of just over 4m traded a day so far this year that’s over 520m or over one third of the company changing hands this year so far! Yep somethings very odd here.

Twigs - this is not bored PIs selling - this is being held on purpose IMO. Low ball bid after FS.

I would imagine the board are as disappointed with the share price at this stage as the share holders, very strange how this appears to be held back by someone however could be just PI getting board and moving on, only about 8 weeks to go and FS should be out but will it have the impact we are hoping for? I doubt it unless there is one hell a PR push to get the word out about the HZM story.
