Yes amazing how quick outlook can change, I just hope the positive sentiment continues,if nickel can get to 11-12k at FS release I feel confident we will get a reasonable finance package.

I get the impression that target dates are set as tight as possible without being too unrealistic. That gives a sense of urgency and the less time taken to achieve the goal the lower the cost. Hence the deadlines often slightly overrunning. DFS, probably start of Q1 2018. Production? 2020 but subject to finance. And finance? subject to Ni price and share price.

2020 . I can live with that Raymund - I am confident the Co will reach production. Nickel prices and target dates to production are well just expectations but not set in stone. I get that.We have already seen how politics and supply/ demand can change things in a short space of time

jb,one thing you will learn here is patience! I first invested when HZM was headlined in 2012 "Big Nickel...Serious Gold" working on BFS 2013, production 2016, inferred resource 100m tonnes. We are dealing with a dynamic here where project has grown out of all proportion to any expectation then due to some very clever deals made under jm and his team.

I checked with the company, the dates in the article are an error, production targeted for 2020.

JB on the last presentation it says 2019 onwards build mine and production, probably has been pushed back a year but if FS is due 2018 then putting finance in place 2019 to start the build is about right?

That is good news for the near term I see Duterte needs to decide whether the environment is more important and keep mines closed and introduce reform orDoes he want more money from taxes by reopening these mines later

Delay to DFS now talking about Q1 2018 instead. Meaning potential placement required Q4 2017.
Also production dates shifted to the right.

Strong buy here, well into the money based on their c1 costs and breakeven price of $4.28lb

I wrote the above before seeing JM's latest interview. I'm seriously impressed not only with the progress on the bfs but also the additional cost savings, the realistic take on the Nickel market, that a finance package is achievable, and I agree that holding back the ramp up may be a good strategy. As strow has said, some very clever people who know what they're doing.
