I was long yesterday at 3.4p on Royal.
I am tempted to buy a few Hol, the business is being robbed from the shareholders by the mbo,and other interested parties must be putting the slide ruler over hol.

Insider, congratulations on the fiance pregnancy ,I hope everthing goes well.
Royal looks so undervalued and yesterday the volume spiked to almost 5mill,hopfully the wave effect will lift this higher.
btw did you see hot14 causing mayhem on the lom thread this morning.
I wonder what school he goes to, infants or playschool?

Agree with everything that's being said at the moment......sit tight because there are still the rumours involving cannons and others making a higher bid.....as someonelse stated if you bought around the 25p mark you can't really lose but for the ones who bought around the 70p+ mark.......i do feel for them!

What's this about royal doulton???
Lost touch with things yesterday as my fiance was rushed into hospital....she's pregnant......luckily all ok!

What's your position with HOL or did you get your timing right?

I think i should be called 'feelinlucky' because i have lost pennies compared to some unfortunate individuals on this thread!
Since buying my stake in HOL at 26p i was 70% up at one point but greed got the better of me and i didn't bank my profits!!

I had 'genuine' imfo from a friend who works with some very 'in the know' people who have made vast amounts of money on companies like HOL, by buying just after the 'panick selling' following a profits warning.
As i had stated a few weeks back, my 'contact' had tipped me in the past on opportunities that i had not acted upon, and hence, i watched some leap 100% in days!!

I guess some you win and some you lose, and the secret is knowing when to cash in your profits without losing a penny!!!

We all know it can take minutes to lose a fortune with shares, like any form of gambling, unless your in it for the longterm, which, like many others here, i wasn't..............simply in to make a killing on the upturn, which i did(on paper !!!)

HOTFINANCE.....i'd love to know what school you go to because their academic success must be sh*te, if kids get to sit at a computer allday posting on internet sites........somehow i believe the 'aussy' bit more than the schoolboy thing!!!

A 25p floor and a possable higher bid from whitbreads/cannons makes this now "in play".

My heart goes out to some of you lot.

I for one took a hefty knock on this share.

However, one fellow in particular deserves a mention.
Thats Mr Kuo Labear short for Mr Hotfinace. You know the one that
buuuuuuuuuuurrrrrppppped continously throughout this saga and let
rip on many occasions.

Theres another to be highlighted. Thats Mr Insideberboy. You know
the lonely one,the spotty one.Always on the ramp.No wonder he could
never climb down.!!!

And finally but not least theres Mr Sherry.Now who could forget that
man.He had all.The fancy cars the women and ofcourse a tin load of Anite.

They all, shall surely be missed.

Anyways as I wind down from this columns posting I kindly ask that the last
person out, switches off the lights.

It comes from the fact that this is not a case of the management offering to buy your shares for 25p or liquidate the company. This is a case of the management SELLING their own shares for 25p or face company liquidation. Can you not see that.

The management have shafted themselves through the inefficient running of the company, as a consequence have had to pay a heavy price, termination of their contracts and the near giving away of their shares. Sadly as always they drag the shareholders down with them
