For those that are still in, you might as well wait. You're gonna get you're measly 25p anyway if it all goes through but you never know what might be around the corner.

Kermit, that's not a bad idea if you can get the stock for under 26p. Losing 1p (taking into account dealing costs) will be easy to swallow but there is a good chance of a gain of up to 10p!

Still holding, ... for what its worth.

I thinks its a win win situation by buying stock at 25p .... yes, if the 25p bid is accepted you just lose costs but I too have just heard that Cannon's could make a bid at 34p so you might as well ride this wave .... IMHO and DYOR

Bought at 25p only dealers cost to lose. Bid at 38p will take this now management have shown their hand.

Why would someone buy 250k at 25p if that's what's being recommended?
also 2 buys of 100k...........i think someone knows something and the truth has not been told........or they're off their heads!!!!!

Is there a reasonable explanation for this????

The way i see it if the bid gets accepted the i lose costs

If there is a counter bid then i will win

Personally i would rather lose my existing shareholding in Holmes Place than let it go for 25p. I hope the majority of shareholders feel the same way.The management has been very calculated in the way the share price has been manipulated.
Yes the debts are very high but the Net Asset value after the debts is way in excess of 25p.
I will definetly not be accepting this paltry offer.

In breach of banking covenenants, offer recommended by directors. I don't think shareholders have much choice on this one.

Don't forget shareholders have to agree to the offer.......can't see anyone accepting a paltry 25p!!

Alkin and Fisher had better watch their backs as there will be some very angry shareholders after their blood!
