FWIW "Simply Wall Street", a tip sheet, is listing this as "under valued" and with a fair value at over £4.00.

It looks like a negotiated trade, timed at 15.30 GMT, but delayed for publication of 36,470 shares £72,430 gave the share price the up spike today

Hollywood Bowl issued an upbeat trading update for the financial year ended 30 September 2022 (FY22).The Group has continued its excellent momentum following a record first half with another period of strong trading and further growth. The Group will post total revenue growth of 42.3 per cent compared to FY19 with total Group revenue of £184.9m for FY22, of which UK revenues were £178.7m. LFL revenue growth will be 28.3 per cent compared to FY19 and the Group expects to report EBITDA growth in excess of 40 per cent compared to FY19 (£38.2m), ahead of market expectations. The business has recovered fully from COVID and is accelerating its trajectory of solid and profitable expansion. Valuation is also reasonably attractive with forward PE ratio at 11.0x. Share price is still down nearly 1/3 from pre-COVID peaks and the business has kicked on. The balance sheet is also strengthening, net cash at £56m at year end. The macro environment and headwinds to consumer spending are the main near-term clouds. BOWL is certainly a growing, profitable and solid name in the Entertainment space, but it looks to be a share to monitor for the time being....

Interesting trades today, looks like someone dumping but someone else doing cross trades buying to match.
Just too iffy at the moment re consumer downturn to pick some up.
Surprised that TEG hasn't followed BOWL recently.

UK stocks all taking a hit, but these guys announced an abundance of cash and analysts upgraded the FY22 EBITDA and profits - with a dividend noted as well, any sell off looks strange

Looks like a few folk have been selling the family silver. Unless the Canadian acquisition isn't liked, which would be a bit of a rash judgement, seeing as BOWL have a great track record and a very well established formula.
