Check out the rating on PETS to see how high it can get when the funds chase it up.

I rate this better than PETS, under normal operating conditions, once they resume. BOWL has not had to reinvent its business like PETS and hasn't benefitted from anything covid related like a surge in pet buying by people who then don't know what to do with them - which gives PETS a boost in their vet and grooming business.

I reckon there's a general shortage of retail / hospitality stocks that are likely to show growth for any length of time for the funds to allocate their percentage of investments to.

260=100% gain. What I would normally do is withdraw my original stake and play with free money....but, I think there is a bid coming so I am in 2 minds but..there are a lot of grreat opportunities at the moment.

This has been bumbling around the 230 mark for months. In days we are over 260.
I still think there is a bid brewing PE loves cash throwers like this one.

Good recovery here. Pre-covid earnings were about 14p, so should at least recover to somewhere near that and there looks to be decent growth in the business, as a result of new openings etc. even allowing for the post-covid jump.

Fairly simple and scalable business. Throws off cash, nice dividends. I wouldn't be surprised to find this on a much higher p/e in a year's time. It was on about 20 in 2019.

By my calcs they did about £65mln in second half and thats with only 10 weeks of full opening. Of course there was pent up demand but that revenue implies a full unrestricted year would greatly exceed the £120mln+ achieved in 2019.

Very strong.
Venues closed for 50% of the year and pulled in more profit and still only down -10% from the year before (despite the closures).

Excellent start to FY2022, well positioned for the future
o Like-for-like revenue growth for October and November of 38.1% versus FY2019
o Strong balance sheet allowing continued investment in the new centre rollout, refurbishment programme and customer initiatives
o Financial and operational flexibility to move quickly to capitalise on organic and acquisition opportunities

Agreed, BAB showing signs of a BOWL; however the share price is knocking at the top of a seriously wallet-hitting downtrend. Due to UK Government defence contracts I suspect it is also a bid-proof stock, at least from overseas predators:
