Crimms getting ready for the FOMC decision.

No rise - sell Gold.

Deferred to ask a friend - sell Gold.

algo's and robots controlling price of PM's

look at the blue, green and red lines on the 24hr chart ... if ever you needed proof.
Suggest sweet FA is happening during ASIA hours leaving us at the mercy of the Nymex pirates.

So much for the much touted Singapore physical exchange impact. They may as well not opened it.

The problem is, Charles, that supply & demand is totally irrelevant to the artificial price of Gold & Silver.

It is supremely easy, & risk-free, to dump $7 t0 $10 bill notional on the market and drive the price where you want it to be - irrespective of demand.

Even if ALL PM miners were driven out of business why would that matter to trading derivatives - they are just bets on nothing & nonsense.
The system is totally broken & corrupt.

There will always be bubbles because it is human nature to follow the herd. The only thing smashing PMs with regularity to drive down the price will do is put the majority of miners out of business, making PMs rarer. Then the price will naturally rise and when it does, jeez it will rocket.

this must mean a crash is around the corner ...

Deutsche: "We Are Almost At The Point Beyond Which There Will Be No More Bubbles"

"It is clear that the spiraling trajectory cannot continue indefinitely; it has to stop at some point beyond which there will be no more bubbles. In many ways, it looks like the post-2008 represents the last lapse. A new game has to be reinvented for the old future to materialize, or a different paradigm altogether has to take over."
