If all that you post was enough for HNR to be 'finished', very few new projects would ever come online again. Stop press: it can take a few years for the economics of any mining project to come through to breakeven and profit. Big shock. Meanwhile the RNS made it clear that a range of funders are being considered, they are spoilt for choice and taking advice on what method to go with.

Did you even read the RNS? Be honest.

'Following the announcement of the farm-out agreement with ConocoPhillips, the Board initiated a competitive fundraising process with the support of the speciality energy investment banking firm Petrie Partners Securities, LLC. The Group has presented the East Denver project to more than 20 investment firms specialised in energy investment and has received a very positive and encouraging level of response. Highlands is currently working through a process of negotiating, selecting and finalising definitive agreements with its preferred investors. Any such investment, if finalised, would take a direct share of the East Denver project and not in the share capital of the Group. The advantage to Shareholders of these arrangements (if finalised) is that the investor would be obliged to pay a significant share of the costs of the project in order to earn their equity share in it.'

The results basically say no break even for 24 months, they need 120 million dollars to drill and they are down to 1.8 million in the bank. Meanwhile oil and gas prices continue to fall making them uneconomic even if they find something. Basically they are finished.

looks like they may need over £20m to get the drilling started and hopefully fund further drilling by the income from production. certainly need money from somewhere so got to expect to take a hit

Can buy no problem at 24.1p now, hour ago impossible to buy at 25p, 20k buy just paid 24.1p, was a bit of selling that knocked it back

Do not worry johnmcd51 - he sold his shares here on April 12th and put all his money into SAVP where he is at a 15-20% loss and suspended. And I suspect will be until 2018 - what a shame 🤣

Family values, sell your shares and buy into Home bargains they do lots of family values, I always try to be honest and positive about my shares and stick with them, I never put negative comments which may frighten people into selling needlessly and vice versa

Clearly I in the minority here, no bad thing.
I will state my view then shut up.

This company in my view is worthless.

I think investors will lose everything.

They are have failed to establish any income and are running on fumes.

A crash is imminent. I am very troubled that few others can actually see this reality.

With only 67 million shares in issue, I don't have a problem with an issue of new shares. What matters to me is what price will the shares be issued at, and the money raised will be used constructively.
