Oh you poor disgruntled investor cloudburst, such a naive investor.

The RNS was great identifying there were a few other procedures which pretty much said they have the labour ready to drill once the approvals and the non diluting funding sorted. Funding is sorted, hence the labour is there ready to go

Broker Cenkos now has a 66p valuation on HNR and a 215p per share "fully unrisked valuation". Cenkos's Jack Allardyce says there’s potential for "very substantial upside".

Drilling permission announced today so should rise quickly.

$20m was mentioned by Cenkos for all of the first six wells and costs may fall with "pad" drilling. Funding is not an issue. WTI oil and gas prices are on the up. Trump is removing red tape and backing fossil fuels. Great time to be a US based onshore driller in a proven play area.

Had the dilution with 3.5m shares for Renegade.

Bearing in mind $40m are required, this will be non diluting. It cannot be done any other way in my view.

All sorted and waiting for final review and approval of permit applications with Arapahoe County as well as approvals from local fire and emergency service authorities.

The Company has advanced operational plans and service provider relationships to the point that Highlands will be in a position to commence drilling operations after final approvals and financing.

Again financing sorted or would not be ready to go

Perhaps some financing is being sorted out and they need the price at this level to make it work....over on LSE some others have already sussed out the approvals information last week.

Nice RNS confirming the permits, but I wonder if they're wanting to put a little bit of a brake on the share price to avoid over-hype and then a sell-off. It's the bit about them noting the recent share price movement that makes me think that.

But it does say it's all systems go, the rest of the permits should be granted and then it's just down to the money. (isn't it always?!) But once the funding is there the drillbit starts turning is what I read from it.

Let the good times roll!

3 plays if you add in DTU
In respect of it,
- patent confirmation
- further testing
- buy out

The first 2 are worth 10- 20% + rise at current prices
The last one is not likely, but if someone offers 50 million I'm certain RP would at least consider it.

So HNR have two potentially transformational opportunities in 2017:

1) Colorado Niobrara oil and gas play:

Drill first wells following State approval last week and drilling timetable previously agreed with partner Renegade. Importantly through the new Agreement with Renegade announced last month, HNR now has the ability to drill wells based on internal assessments of optimal spacing, well design and placement, which facilitates 'pad drilling', i.e. the drilling of multiple horizontal shale wells from a centralized operations pad. A significant advantage of this is that it enables Highlands to accelerate the original drilling timeline by consolidating multiple disparate well locations into efficient and centralised pads.

2) Helios Two Natural Gas and Helium Project in Montana:

Following confirmation in January 2017 of 0.31% to 0.33% helium, and methane concentrations of 90%, assess the full-scale gas production rates and economics - focused on drilling a disposal well and accelerating the de-watering process.

"The results are similar to the concentrations of helium exploited at other major helium operations including the Hugoton Field in Kansas and Texas, the USA's largest helium resource"

"these results are potentially very significant as they may point to a meaningful accumulation of helium as well as an important natural gas field."

"Natural gas already known to be present at Helios Two and apportioned an NPV(10) of US$341m by RPS Knowledge Reservoir, LLP"

"Upon completion of the disposal well and commencement of full-scale de-watering, Highlands' technical teams expect they will be able to verify the commercial potential of de-watering in the Muddy Formation of Helios Two in H2 2017. If full-scale de-watering proves successful, Highlands would be in the position of having substantially de-risked Helios Two from a scientific, technical and operational perspective."

"helium prices have risen to US$107 per mcf (approximately 3,050% more valuable than methane, which trades for US$3.50 per mcf) in the most recent government helium auctions."

And FV said in his 8810 post

"Dewatering must be almost complete, with imminent update"

Posters may not wish to listen to my research which is fair enough but for heavens sake, PLEASE do not listen to Family Values' tripe!

RP said in the RNS dated 26th January 2017

"Upon completion of the disposal well and commencement of full-scale de-watering, Highlands' technical teams expect they will be able to verify the commercial potential of de-watering in the Muddy Formation of Helios Two in H2 2017. If full-scale de-watering proves successful, Highlands would be in the position of having substantially de-risked Helios Two from a scientific, technical and operational perspective. At that point, Highlands would accelerate commercial partnerships towards scale-up and full field development."

After that on 9th February, Cully Cavness said they plan to drill the Disposal Well in May and hence Highlands can verify commercial potential of Helios 2 in H2 2017.

duxy

I have ignored him over the last few days but when he types utter tripe you have to correct it for other potential investors.

But he does humour me though but also seems to be getting a little angry. Suppose you do though when people have identified your character.

But you have run out of road Giglo.
Even your most deluded fan must be starting to wonder why the forward selling RNS hasn't arrived?

When your much promised non dilutive funding doesn't turn up then people will see your true worth.

And could you take your pet monkey Duxy with you on the way out?

As you know Giglo, de-watering has been going on for months.

We've been pumping it into a pond, remember the coiled heating tubing, improves evapouration apparently, then we will dispose of it, injecting it into the new well?

We even had to change the in-hole pump?

For someone who claims to know everything you have a most selective memory.

You just cannot allow anyone to have a different point of view.

I have a fat sister-in-law who has the same character flaw too.

Do you find people think up reasons to leave the room just after you arrive?

You, who invented the rounded sell, and has been spinning a fantasy forward selling yarn for months, have the cheek to accuse others of misleading people?

Reality is in a different direction to the one you've been heading mate.
