This is a good move.Shame not receiving more money upfront. The majority of the monies won't be received for three years. What is notable is the size of the premium to Serena's book value .Shows that some of these junior explorers are fearfully undervalued on asset criteria.

I guess that Herencia could leverage off the future Serena receipts to be received to fund near term expenses related to Picachos.Anything is preferable to a Lind style arrangement!I think the stock should rise sharply on this news but whether that rise sticks is another matter as we all know.

B&A Mineracao is a private company founded in 2012 apparently. They are very active striking deals here and there in copper, phosphates etc. This is what I've alluded to in previous posts. When the going gets tough the private money cherry picks. The banks won't cough up the readies and that's the opportunity for wealthy private money to make a fortune. As private clients nursing losses,we have little choice but to be grateful that someone is there to provide finance.

Not sure we will get a chance to spring the full amount. I just have a feeling if all the ducks line up, someone has their eye on getting us cheaply.
Just a feeling.

My 2M off load at end of play so just a poor private trader!. Sorry no choice

On another note, after a respite of 8 months or so, zinc warehouse levels have fallen below 650k tonnes which was last seen in late 2010

my good mate,
time line is nice, very nice but I questioned it then and question it now...

how can GS possibly give such a guideline with no feaso, no finance, no cost analysis , no details plan from expert technical on the ground of the length of time it takes to build such so simple open pit?

so Corb please tell me how on earth GS could possibly release such a promise to shareholders last year while he didn't have any of the above key facts...

I am confused and still not fully understand how he could have possibly even come up with such a plan and release to market was a big big mistake now he has to stick with his promise and deliver it, but the problem is HE SIMPLY CAN'T do it, not just him no one can deliver what he promised, so why did he do it Corb!!! IMHO this is what I call poor management, I never come and make such promises to market knowing I have NOTHING PROVEN yet and NO finance !!

I will send my thoughts on Greece later, but believe me their exit will have no or little bearing on Europe, if anything might be a good thing...

but lets hear what they want first before coming to any conclusions....
I bet they want to stay in Europe so desperately but they want the austerity to be cut! but doubt will get what they want this time!!
Europe is out of recession and they are not even in the position to negotiate any deal..but I truly feel for them also, as the reason they are in this mess is a massive past corruptions... that is not people's fault!

well stockers -gs has given us a timeline a few months ago- and thus far each hurdle is being passed successfully-lets wait and see how feaso/jorc etc prove up and other news throughout this year before you slag the picasso project off further eh?
whats gone in the past elsewhere is history.
lets stay focussed on picasso and the timeline-after 8-9 years this year is the one-and who would have thought it 2-3 years ago? picasso coming aboard?
jorc due soon stockers lets see what the initial resource tells us eh? size n grade?
keep in mind fluer de bosque linked to 40m? could be important.
:-)
have a nice day.
thoughts on greece stockers?
lefties and will spain follow?

thanks, GS needs to just focus on what the hell is going to tell investors comes end of March!
he would then need to have finance, licences, feaso, costs, etc

go pass March do you seriously think he would be able to pull together such a complex project in less than 9 months?
he keeps saying small scale open-pit like he makes it so easy to build,

but if you have good engineering knowledge as I am sure you do, then you know well the amount of project managements, time, money, cost , set backs, dealing with bloody contractors etc it would take to build that rather simple open pit and make it work by 2015.

time is running out for GS and he surely have to come with another excuse to delay his promise, and I bet you anything that is EXACTLY WHAT HE WILL DO.

I truly hope I am wrong, but this guy have proved himself many many times in the past, kind of made it so easy to guess what is ahead of us, and I am not happy what I see!!

regardless of copper price this should go ahead because copper is strong longer term. but the question is:

does GS would be able to secure a funds?
can he manage it?
can he deliver it on time?

somehow sadly I very much doubt it corb

too late

IMHO

just for your info regarding EMED,

both permits came today,
these two significant permits were the last hurdles as far as local authority concerns,

there is no other big permits outstanding, only securing the final package of finance which I have a good info progressing so well and then re opening of Rio Tinto this historic mine is about to be open and I hope everyone who has a interest in mining and willing to wait 12 month (for maximum profit) to invest in EMED

I bet anything GS is investing right now in EMED

Corbin,

no need for drilling at all, EMED has a proven copper asset for the next 14 years as things stands, and that has been reported by the independent consultant (CEDEX report) in comprehensive study on grades, life time of the mine with current assets, etc, that report is available in one of the RNS if you look for it, or EMED website, I believe it was 85 pages unlike HER 4 pages feasibility study of Patagun which made me laughed at the time (May 2013)

the drilling is purely an extra effort to upgrade the current assets, there is absolutely no requirements for it, but would certainly add few more pence to the share price one that news alone.

to recap for you, the current assets are based on only 200m drilling depth, (done in the past) but there is a strong evidences that copper runs up to the depth of 500m with a reasonable grade, also in addition there are other areas within the mine with huge huge potentials for copper explorations as well as silver which has been identified already but never has been explored.

remember EMED is 100% owner of this mine and THEY HAVE THE FULL RIGHTS of the minerals already... the basic permits are already in place (AAU/AS)

basically amazing prospects once it comes to production...

this is truly a year for it Corb, things have moved on so much since we last spoke about EMED IMHO

EMED will be a production company this year,

so sweet spots need a lot more drilling? is that before or after production commences?
corbine

also Corb

please note the first one (£13.1M) is not a loan, basically the two company bought more shares into EMED having a confidence of the assets and production prospects way into the next 16 years+

massive vote of confidence, no wonder Trafigura is all over this stock

there are very few investors who are aware of silver potentials in RT, that is a well kept secret which soon come out when we go to productions, so another massive hidden gem which EMED would benefit from.

loads of Gold in the dam but processing a bit complicated but as far as copper goes very sweet spots yet to be explored for assets upgrade with loads of drilling data available from the past..

regarding your question in EMED

back in august 2014 they raised money by subscription, as follow:

subscription agreement with two of its cornerstone customers, XGC and Orion, to raise £13.1 million (approximately US$22 million) by way of a subscription (the "Subscription"). which kept the company going till Dec 2014

REMEMBER this important point that this money was mostly spent on development so it is not cash burnt to the ground and certainly would help to reduce the costs and burden of final finance package

another 30 million loan given in DEC 2014 by the BIG THREE investors (Trafigura included) to keep EMED push on with developments till Feb/march, please bare in mind most of this money spend on the mine development meaning we are closer to opening... apart from the above two there is no other loan, unless mentioned in the annual report.

regarding the CAPEX/OPEX and spending you need to real the annual report, it is all there

EMED has a very very attractive CAPEX and OPEX figures

totally a different league to HER

my good mate,

please don't tell me you don't know that famous line from GS in his media release,!!!?

where he asked for the reasons of delays in licences he said I don't know what happened there and his exact words was some boxes might have been UNTICKED!! what a utter ridicules reply to give investors..., the CEO of the company doesn't know what happen to licences,! honestly shameful. I am rather surprise you have not seen that media! as I know you follow this closely

not sure which media release it was (which date!) but if I find it I will post it for you,

it was defiantly last year

cheers corb,

show me where gs says he didnt know what happened to the licenses. thats incorrect stockers.
also different rules for mining picasso locale compared to paguantas locale.
mining already taking place within the asset and gov processing plant within trucking distance, route already in place.
