05/11/2001 11:44 | This is a new AIM listed company selling and renting DVD, ganes and video tape, under 'Choces' and it is now climbing steadily. It was up 3p on Fri and up 3p today so far - at 200p to buy. With the Christmas market now well under way Im seriously considering going in big time and before the herd stampedes. Any advice would be welcome. Jan | ![]() janice mclean
02/11/2001 18:04 | Ooooo Errr misses Big time! I've seen a few people loose a shirt or two, being in Big Time, I wish you luck. Why do you have faith it what could be a bit of a cutthroat sector? In my opinion it's a bit too fashionable a sector, it's got too many companies and that will mean at best some sort of consolidation and at worst some good companies going to the wall! But it could be a nice little earner along the way! | ![]() keithwupton
02/11/2001 10:57 | Many thanks Keith, I have considerable faith in the Leisure industry and I think this one will soar once people get to hear about it. It's a new listing on Aim and I really like the look of it. Im going to go in big time before the herd stampedes. Thanks again Jan | ![]() janice mclean
01/11/2001 18:02 | It's only me again I can think of some reasons but I bet there are a lot more! eg: - Making Markets! The MMs, because of a large sell which is only shown as a trade when it is complete (see T trades and/or Level 2), may mark down the price. Some people may think the lower price is now a reasonable one and buy up the shares. MMs may have to mark down the price until hey can fill the sell order. They may even drop the price just to stimulate trading, but I would think this was more of a gamble! The sector (eg Insurance and anything related to Aircraft in the current circumstances) may be marked down so all the companies in the sector get marked down. | ![]() keithwupton

31/10/2001 14:52 | Could anyone please explain to me why a share will drop by 1% when there has been no volume traded and no adverse news? Jan | ![]() janice mclean |
