27/1/2020 11:00 | China stock market is closed until Friday?, HK closed until Wednesday, so attempting to guessestimate NAV is difficult over the next few days. | essentialinvestor
27/1/2020 07:50 | Current premium to NAV is circa 3%. | masurenguy
27/1/2020 07:20 | Re Andyj: As long as the dividend keeps rising, the yield cannot be higher and higher without the share price catches up finally | redponza
25/1/2020 15:54 | I bought these three years ago and whilst the dividend keeps me holding them, the performance has hardly been electric. Indeed they are exactly the same price whilst most of my other holdings have been admittedly been more volatile but ultimately delivered much better returns. | andyj
25/1/2020 11:59 | In Jersey? | pvb
25/1/2020 11:28 | Very good AGM this week (for those who didn't make it). Great presentations by Mike & Sat - fluent, informed, risk-aware and candid! and all very well handled from the Chair by John Russell. If you can, be 'there' next year. | sll
23/1/2020 14:25 | Will be very happy with that! | uapatel
23/1/2020 12:59 | Agreed. Forecast dividend FY2020: 23.20p | speedsgh
23/1/2020 12:57 | Going by their dividend history that means we should expect the other dividends this year to be 5.7, 5.9 and 5.9. | epo001
23/1/2020 10:53 | Dividend Declaration - The Directors have declared the first interim dividend of 5.70p (five point seven zero pence) per ordinary share in respect of the year ending 31 August 2020. The dividend will be paid on 28 February 2020 to shareholders on the register on 31 January 2020 (the record date). The shares will be quoted ex-dividend on 30 January 2020. | speedsgh
26/11/2019 12:03 | AAIF at 10% discount to NAV | davebowler
14/11/2019 12:28 | The Company announces that it agreed on 13 November 2019 to allot 100,000 Ordinary Shares at 357p per share, each fully paid under its block listing facility. The net asset value per Ordinary Share as at the close of business on 12 November 2019 was 353.3p. These shares will be issued for cash on 15 November 2019. As at 15 November 2019 the issued share capital will be 134,008,564 and the number of voting rights will be 134,008,564. | skinny
31/10/2019 15:23 | Personally, will tend to use the NET underlying asset value per share (excluding known current year items, at least until 'checked out' at the coming AGM) - so am running with 348.6p for now, as reported today, being a circa 3.3% discount to today's MMV (itself reflecting the [as of today] ex-div status which sees yesterday's holders outlooking a 5.7p div per share, and today's buyers coming in ex-div). So, by that logic which others may dispute, HFEL is quoted at a circa 3.3% premium to their own lowest definition of underlying outlooked net asset value. I can live with that, right now. | exel
30/10/2019 09:53 | During Sept/Oct (so, since its 31/8/19 year end) HFEL has issued a total of 2,980,000 new shares for £10,872,900 in aggregate - before costs - averaging 364.86p per share (gross). Total shares in issue are now 133,808,564 - so the post year end capital increase equates to about 2.23% of the enlarged capital, providing the team with useful 'top-up' investment fire power, for no increase in fixed costs. Naturally, these new shares will rank for dividends with immediate effect. Note: this stock will go ex div wef tomorrow. (31/10/19) | exel
29/10/2019 16:49 | Current premium to NAV @356.6 is just 2.3%. | masurenguy
12/9/2019 09:50 | NAV is 362.4p so premium is about 3%. | aleman
12/9/2019 07:38 | That premium's now circa 5% (373 over 355) so I'd expect a narrowing to occur, unless NAV moves up soonish. | sll
07/9/2019 13:34 | Current premium to NAV is just 2.4%. | masurenguy
01/8/2019 12:31 | Considering it's xd today the current share price isn't too shabby. | scrwal
01/8/2019 10:17 | Ah, the old 'Fat Finger trade' :-) | skinny |
