02/1/2018 13:27 | I thought the new regulation came into effect tomorrow (3rd). On edit: it appears it is 1st January - HL are effecting it from 3rd. | skinny
02/1/2018 13:05 | Hi, I was just able to buy 1322 shares although the KID did appear as an an error page. With Halifax I just had to confirm I had read it and then I could buy. | milly17
02/1/2018 09:37 | Just tried to top up a few - Can't Company hasn't made available the document - 'Key Investor Information Document' that is required for the new compliance regulations- 'Costs and Charges Disclosure Document' is available. Thus buying is 'not allowed' at the moment. End result is that 'compliance' is distorting the market for HFEL at the moment. | rahosi
07/9/2017 21:38 | I had a moan at Barclays and I note that my divi was paid into my account today. Bad delay, but Barclays never seem to pay on the due date and dividends are always delayed without exception. I never have a problem with TD Direct. | lord gnome
07/9/2017 14:41 | 7 day delay? Ring up and play hell. | petewy
07/9/2017 14:15 | Thanks for all the information. Looks like Barclays are still be having problems with the new platform as my account still not showing any dividend. | piwood

03/8/2017 19:35 | yep another large divi banked - its a hard life in the asian equity income space. | nimbo1
03/8/2017 14:06 | Thought these were having an off day but I've just realised they went ex-dividend. | aleman
16/7/2017 19:08 | "City cynics say the six most expensive words in the English language are: ‘It will be different this time.’ That’s worth recalling when this month marks the 20th anniversary of the 1997 Asian crisis, where a domino effect saw currencies collapse across the region and stock market shocks reverberate around the world." Reminds me. That's when I first invested in HFEL. | pvb
23/6/2017 14:48 | quite weird to have the dividend declaration 2 months in advance. Im sure it's normally a few weeks. anyways not complaining. core hold for me here. | nimbo1
22/5/2017 09:18 | U'm out of HGG and into HEFL. This one for 10 shares mean HGG is £23+ a share which is Djia value | petewy
26/4/2017 23:02 | Hi Aleman, I am very happy with steady as she goes. The last 12 months have seen a strong recovery in the share price here and I expect only a small increase in the dividend this August. I have decided not to add to my HFEL holding for the moment - the political situation needs to improve first. Clearly the market thinks North Korea and the USA are indulging in political posturing but this has the potential to blow up into a real crisis. Any unfortunate incidents could easily knock Asian share prices hard. I do hold HFEL for the long term in my ISA portfolio. As I mostly specialise in stock picking UK companies this Investment Trust is a core holding as it gives my portfolio exposure to Asian markets. At the moment I would only look to add to HFEL on any sharp pullbacks. Goldpig | goldpiguk
24/4/2017 07:55 | Interims underperform the market a bit but revenue looking like 23p this year so the 5.1p quarterly dividend looks set to increase a bit in the near future. The revenue reserve is up £2m compared to the same time last year. That's a bit less than 2p added to the bank to pay out later when times are tough. So, no fireworks but steady as she goes, hopefully. | aleman
02/2/2017 12:41 | Another interesting presentation. Thanks, Goldpig. | aleman
01/2/2017 20:27 | Hi, The HFEL shareholders meeting on Thursday 15th December 2016 can be seen online using the link below. You will need to scroll down the page as the AGM's of various Henderson Trusts seem to be lumped together this year. hxxps://www.henderso A really good presentation and well worth watching.
