23/5/2007 10:13 | I don't know is the straight answer. I was thinking of investing at 14p but didn't and cursed myself when it shot up 5p yesterday. I bought in at 20p riskily and it shot up another 5p this morning then backed off a bit. Perhaps I should have sold but I'm not convinced that it's done yet, although I've no solid evidence to base that on. It's very sensitive to trades but many seem to appear delayed so it's difficult to tell exactly what's going on. I watched it rise several pence this morning in the space of a few minutes on the basis of what appeared to be zero trades. | descff
23/5/2007 10:09 | Is it just investors day trading keep pushing the share price up here, or is it really going up on fundamentals, or is the price now getting too top heavy? Haven't looked at the accounts myself. | trader_clive
23/5/2007 10:06 | DesCFF Been watching this stock. Whare do you reckon the share price is headed for?? Thanks in advance CW | crosswire
23/5/2007 10:05 | Had 31m. Read the terms of the deal, look at the combined balance sheet, and then assess the total number of shares which will be in issue, the total debt of the enlarged company, and the approximate pre tax position last year. Then factor in whatever improvement you might like, keeping the numbers real, and only then decide if you really want to buy. More complicated, but this is not a game for the stupid to play. | tiredoldbroker

01/9/2006 12:18 | Makes you wonder how a business with 111 pubs cant make a profit. Surely you can sell or close the pubs that are loss making and keep the better performing ones. I bet within a year if it gets a MBO it will be making loads of money. | quotes_4_u
01/9/2006 10:52 | That's nice of the chairman to offer to buy the company.... ....well below the market price.....!!! | quotes_4_u

05/5/2006 08:10 | Wakey wakey HCL, refinancing/valuatio "Financing The bank facility is due for renewal at the end of April and a valuation of the estate will form part of this review. Whilst discussions continue, the bank have indicated they will continue to be supportive and we see no reason for this to change." | scburbs
05/4/2006 15:35 | I also use tdw and you can only get multiples of 1k or less online but give them a call and you can buy, hence you are seeing lots small buys showing would not be surprised to see a couple of t trades later in the day... | brum78
05/4/2006 09:28 | I picked up some of these at 13p, but could only get 7,500. I tried to buy more in the following days, but could not get any from TDW or Halifax online. I think the rise is showing the lack of available stock for buyers. A takeout at 26+p would be good news as would confirmation of the completed refinancing. | scburbs
04/4/2006 17:36 | Bit of action today.... wouldn't surprise me if there was an announcement re a buyer on it's way. | mpg |
