06/3/2018 10:23 | Thanks yet again Speed | badtime
06/3/2018 09:39 | @badtime - You might want to query that with your broker. I appear to have received 110.85p capital repayment + 1.12p accrued interest. | speedsgh
06/3/2018 09:23 | Price was 110.85 .......with no accrued interest hmmm | badtime
02/3/2018 15:58 | Bonds redeemed.....111? | badtime
08/2/2018 14:19 | A pleasure. It only took a few clicks :o) | speedsgh
08/2/2018 14:15 | Speed thanks for taking the time to dig that out | badtime
08/2/2018 14:08 | Prospectus - From pg39... "If the Issuer exercises its right to repay the Bonds early, you will receive cash compensation for the loss of income you would have received had you invested in a high quality alternative, represented by bonds issued by HM Treasury (commonly referred to as “gilts”) with a comparable fixed rate of interest as the Bonds. Such payments will be made to you equal to the higher of the nominal amount of the Bonds (£100 per Bond) you hold, or a price whereby the yield given up will equal that of a gilt of comparable maturity plus a margin of 0.5 per cent., together with any accrued interest. For example, as the Bonds have a fixed interest rate of 6.00 per cent. and mature on 24 June 2020, if the Bonds were repaid on 24 June 2014 the cash payment would amount to £123.34 for every Bond issued at a nominal amount of £100." | speedsgh
08/2/2018 13:11 | Going back to the bonds...will accrued interest also be paid ..I've had a look at the rns but didn't see anything | badtime
01/2/2018 09:48 | And back up again | badtime
31/1/2018 23:57 | wow, nice 8% drop. | cordwainer
23/1/2018 11:58 | assuming gilts don't collapse by february, yes. it should redeem at circa 111p by my maths. so will bid offer spreads, i see little point selling unless you really need to invest elsewhere. | edwardt
22/1/2018 19:56 | My bond is now showing 9.2% profit ,am i likely to have anymore profit if i wait for redemption? | ponywen
22/1/2018 13:47 | basically i struggle to see nav going up much but i can see discount narrow. given the extent of it being so wide, i call this my margin of safety. bit washy as it is based on audited nav and is not done on mark to market transactions but i think you get my point. | edwardt
22/1/2018 13:27 | yep, as a holder of both the bonds and the equity, im quite pleased with this outcome. The refinancining by AVIVA both saves helcial money and, (more importantly to me), reduces the maturing debt risk that helical had in case of a disorderly Brexit. It makes teh equity a safer inv imo. cheers | llef
22/1/2018 12:32 | they will mature at 111p and will accrue to feb so leave alone would be my suggestion. as for the equity, the bear thesis is centered on high debt levels so this should placate them. the discount to nav should all things be equal start to contract, hence i am in hold mode here. | edwardt
22/1/2018 12:27 | Hmm the bonds I hold are being redeemed early...moved up today ..do I sell now...pondering time | badtime
11/1/2018 13:15 | good rental update but anyone got any ideas other than that as to why share price gone on a march of late... | edwardt
04/1/2018 12:47 | given lots of deal activity in the sector, i for one would not be unwelcome of a bid near nav. this has too big a cost base for its size in my humble opinion. | edwardt
21/11/2017 11:52 | thanks - yep, management has always been highly rated, which is one of the main reasons I've got the shares, but their relatively high gearing in the current uncertainty is a bit unsettling. If Brexit is resolved amicably, then it will look like a masterstroke, if not, then its a big hostage to fortune. | llef
21/11/2017 11:02 | I've never had a spread between account, ordinary shares only. Best of luck with your holding. It's a strong management team imv, even with Michael's departure. | essentialinvestor
21/11/2017 10:53 | great timing! out of interest, do you buy the actual shares, or do a spreadbet instead? | llef
21/11/2017 09:34 | Out of those. This may be my last REIT trade/holding for sometime. | essentialinvestor
20/11/2017 16:35 | Had a small amount before the close. Growing political risks for UK REITS, with Corbyn waiting in the wings, hopefully 2/3 years away yet. Closed out my small LAND trade. No other REIT holdings. | essentialinvestor |
