If you don't know the market is weak, you are clueless. Industry stats confirm, Headlam, Victoria, most manufacturers and wholesalers are struggling. Restructuring and job losses are happening for a reason. The downside is, these clowns didn't know how to negotiate it correctly. |

Like do appear to be doing better, along with Kellars. Everyone knows the market is weak, but it is the quality of the decisions and strategy from Headlam that is under scrutiny. The recent consolidation should have been done years ago, being just one point. |

Likewise Group plc (AIM:LIKE), the fast growing UK floor coverings distributor, is pleased to announce that trading in October and November has been particularly positive, with like for like performance showing strong growth against the corresponding period last year.
Total sales revenue in the two months showed an increase of 11.0% taking the year to date to 7.5%.
Sales revenue in Likewise Floors increased by 18.8% and year to date 15.3%.

I'm staggered that he received so many votes for reappointment. Major shareholders must be asleep at the wheel here to continue supporting Chris Pain. Top brass salary levels are ridiculous given the results and they've made no sacrifices, just continue sucking blood out of Headlam. No clue on strategy, chopping and changing and making it up as they go. In short they are a disgrace and an embarrassment to themselves. |
The board need a wholesale change - they have implemented so many bad decisions since Covid that have really bitten them. I was surprised the one going was not the Chief Executive, although this may surely come with the next set of results... |
