lol at RK moaning on a shares topic that no longer exists

I agree Jazza, its easy to tar all shorters with the same brush, as the majority are just all mouth, but i've said many a time i've grown respect for fatboy due to the way he works, which is why he's on my "list" of people to take note of, although i don't short lloy, if i know what he's doing then i can make a decision with the use of that, luckily enough i've not fallen for the everyone screaming buy because they are long in the hope everyone listens, i go of my own decisions and use the "lists" choices/opinions to verify my thought of look again

so if i think lloy will drop i'll hold back and see what others are doing, i remember telling people not to buy as its got further to drop (it was either lloy or HBOS) and the majority didn't listen and piled in, i held off for 5 days and it took a dive on the last day and everyone started complaining! lol

Does anyone know what has happened to the HBOS 6.475 prefs previously trading under the HBOX Epic? Apologies if it's already been mentioned but it will save me trawling through previous posts to find the new Epic. TIA.

RKJONES,

Me & fatboy are having a nice little conversation about banks in general and this is a quiet place to do it.....don't wanna get caught up in all the traffic on the RBS/LLOY/BARC threads.

Feel free to join in or leave us alone....up to you.

Forgot to ask fatboy,

Does this work in both directions?

i.e. can you "pump" as well as "dump"?

Seems I'd misjudged you fatty, you're obviously a lot smarter than I'd originally thought....muchos respect to fatty!

Anyway, Varley at BARC has fired his latest missile in the big "mark-to-market" vs "hold-to-maturity" accounting war of ideas....am amazed that so much rests on how accountants value assets....my bro-in-law is an accountant and I know that, beneath all the numbers, its just voodoo science & opinion at heart.

Bulls on the BARC thread are already telling themselves its all over & the only way is up...I'm not so sure....any comments fatty? or don't you do accounts?!

:-)

the company did , but they dont know how to use it lol. Worked as a freelance trouble shooter and analyst in a previous life in london and around the world.

Had a play with barc today. Post on barc's bb.at 11:55 or there abouts (ask safai7 lol), doing much the same thing but on a smaller scale - as stated on post (not going mad with barc) got in on 7 sets, ... just have a look at todays charts on barc after 12pm can you see the flat line at 12:30 to 1:30pm and a fall! And back up to around that lev to close at 12pm price... just watch.

Cue points of trade or segmented trade pattens... Basically stress testing the new share on open markets vs how much capital (money) you need to trigger a even.... and legs crossed make some money on the way:)

ps... jj just don't setup a finical consultancy business :)

Just thinking about yer handywork of the other day...

If it goes down for 32 mins, then back up, ending where it started....

There is no need to be sorry about my situation, it not good but I could have lost it a million other ways. I learn from and move on for a different approach.

Could have bought me a nice apartment in manhattan or maybe you just rent when on holiday. I guess no matter what happens my lifestyle will go on. If the UK is going like iceland then I can always start afresh somewhere else.

:) got to adapt and move on, rather then do what the likes of the folk that jump out of windows (eg that rather unfortunate irish property billion in the papers recently).

Blood on the streets and no doubt there is more to come.
