Yes that last set of accounts had some flags as I recall (and noted at the time). Suspect I posted that here (somewhere). In any event there is some value and upside potential here I think.

thanks edmundshaw
not sure if that is before provision from US
maybe they are getting on top of cashflow but anyone can delay payments to creditors before the year end to make cashflow look good
its whether this lot are actually turning it round and that remains to be seen. jury is out on that fact.
hopefully the stock changing hands on friday (about 8% i think) will bring some new holders and maybe even a break up of the company or a bid from a bigger firm.
time will tell
divi is good so going to wait and see what happens

Interesting...6.5m just gone through as 2 NT type trades...clearance of a longstanding overhang possibly? Subsequent move up suggests it might have been.

Graham Neary comments today (on Stockopedia) conclude with -

"Anyway, even with this lacklustre trading update, Harvey Nash shares are screaming value at the current level. I'm not surprised to be see that the StockRank Value Rank is 99. The trailing PE ratio is 6.8x and that ignores the value of the healthy cash balance.
So if it can sail through the next year or two in a reasonable way, it's priced for a fantastic shareholder return, even if we assume the business is less than high-grade."

EPS last year of 9.4p (underlying 9.7p), plus overall gross profit increased by 8%, seems the right ballpark to me.

where are your earnings of 10p per share from?
i can't see that from those figures today

Whatever the negatives, the company will report positive earnings shift (thanks to strong EU & Euro) and no debt, and is on a PE of 6 and yield is around 6.7%

Agreed, the management are not respected and have no strategy, competitors are growing strongly. Board needs to sell or change management

to be honest I was expecting a lot worse they have always thrown a lot of cash off and that has continued

brexit just an excuse if there's a problem standard operating procedure now is to blame that lol

Pretty galling to read they are still talking about Brexit uncertainty as UK & Ire growth contracts by 3% at constant currency

Just had a wild swing at a few of these at 60(ish) pence. Hoping that the next update shows things are on an even keel, or hopefully slightly better. Pretty modest expectations seem to be all that are priced in at the moment.

Quite a slug of volume today - 4.3m on 4 NT type trades.

Will be interesting to see a Holdings RNS in the coming days. Initially thought it might be Unicorn being cleared out but they recently reduced to 3.5m so today's volume is more than they were holding.

by 3rd Mar it will have been 5 months since we had any news...let's hope the good cash generation continued and the indication of a post-Brexit recovery in July followed through for the remainder of the second half to improve operating profit...no reason to suspect it didn't imo

Record results at EMR announced today with an update slightly ahead of expectations, pretty much all reflected in the impressive looking chart above.

However, not much a tailwind reflected here! We did have a 500k trade though - I wonder if that'll get things moving?

Well chunky buys keep coming here but we haven't had a Holdings RNS since last April which I find a little odd...
