Not much of a run to the exit door at these prices.

The bigger the short position, the bigger the bounce when they close it. They could roll it over for a few months but with production now in progress and cash flow not far away I think that would be quite risky. The trouble with having a public bear position and encouraging followers to short a stock is that most people are not professional shorters. Lacking patience, they close before the master, and that puts more strain on the alpha short position. Either that, or the master closes without telling his followers and they are left with a larger loss. Then there's the choice of target. Well personally I wouldn't dream of shorting this but hey, what do I know?

I sense bulldozing might begin soon. Perhaps it began today

AAF (google translated)
‘Undertakings or activities considered to have a non-significant environmental
impact are exempt from environmental licensing and must require the
Environmental Operating Permit (AAF) - a simpler and faster process for
regularization.
They are considered not significant environmental impact of those enterprises
that fit the class 1 or 2 as established by Normative Resolution 74/04 Copam .’

"Trial Mining Permit? No such thing, it’s an ‘Utilisation Guide’ which is not necessarily in accordance with the terms of the Environmental Licence."

What 'environmental licence'? As far as I can make out, AAF is an 'operating permit' for projects that have a non significant environmental impact and therefore exempt from environmental licensing. I may be wrong though.

You keep mentioning a placing is coming, do you know something we don't?

There is always the possibility of loaning money rather than a placing. That'll mean no dilution needed. It's easier to borrow money if you have revenue.

Not what any of us long term holders were hoping for I would say. But it could have been worse. There was quite a bit of bargain hunter buying throughout the day which shows some confidence in the stock. Much harder to short something that bites back!

Looking at the chart since the big rise last year it appears someone is regularly dumping - or going short. If it's shorting I think they must be way underwater and trying to force (and now talk) down the price. Mr McMasters has repeatedly said there is no need for a fundraising so why should we doubt that? Mr Miers has said the company will need funding during 2017. Well maybe, unless the cash starts to roll in and if that happens there will be no need for extra funding. Then the shorters will disappear like rats up a drainpipe, closing their shorts and dragging the price to new highs. I can't quite understand why anyone would play such a risky game - unless they are already short up to their necks..

Not sure Kreature. But why start producing stonemeal if they aren't even allowed to sell it?
