28/12/2016 10:37 | janestone spot on. | soulsauce
28/12/2016 10:36 | If you look through the RNS's there was no notification that the Edwards family went to 30%, as the last announcement for EF was on the 22nd Sept and they had the same amount of shares as today's announcement, but they've slipped through percentages because of more shares in issue. It was the issue of shares on the 20th December to kmine that saw EF move to under 21%. EF haven't sold any. | janestone
28/12/2016 10:32 | imv it moves fast cos of the few shares in the free-float. I suppose the danger here for shorters is that they accidentally find diamonds in the kimberlite rock. | kreature
28/12/2016 10:27 | Well - who bought the other 8m. :-) | cottoner
28/12/2016 10:27 | Nobody mention the 'P' word! | andy
28/12/2016 10:26 | Not sure how they have managed to off-load 8m, not seen that sort of volume go through recently or any sizable trades? The notice is not set out as though it is a sale as there is no previous figure and just the amount held today. | soulsauce
28/12/2016 10:24 | I bought some of them :) | ieh fan
28/12/2016 10:23 | If they've sold - who's bought them. | cottoner
28/12/2016 10:21 | It does appear that Edwards Family have sold some shares though. Today's RNS states they have just over 22m. This is from the HMI website, accurate as of 20th December. So they sold over 8m shares at some point. That's my take on it anyway. Probably a sensible thing to do, de-risk significantly and they've probably made a tonne of money on the shares they've sold. 28/12/2016 10:14 | Not as if there is much volume. 0.4% shares traded resulting in a 10% drop in price - on no news. That is some volatility! | charles clore
28/12/2016 10:12 | whl2 I doubt the drop back has anything to do with test results leaking. | soulsauce
28/12/2016 10:04 | Looks like the test results have leaked - can't believe they're dropping this on a share holding which has not changed! | whl2
28/12/2016 01:05 | Interesting yawwwwwnnnnn... nite all | charles clore
27/12/2016 23:09 | thanks. Looks like they only initially plan to sell a soil stonemeal/reminerali RNS Aug 2016 ‘We are able to sell our products without registering with MAPA and to assist in the marketing, we are planning to register them initially as a "stonemeal/remineral ------ ‘MINISTÉ Fertilizers, correctives, inoculants and biofertilizers are basic inputs......... ...Establishments that produce, import, export and market inputs must be registered with the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as products manufactured or imported. hxxp://www.agricultu | kreature
27/12/2016 20:15 | kreature, from the (very old) presentation on their website: Flotation test work on weathered kamafugite rocks has delivered a mass recovery of 20.4% with an average grade of 25.2% P2O5. The apatite-rich rocks are nearly horizontal and strongly weathered providing for an easy mine operation. | andy
27/12/2016 19:00 | Err... What do I know? I'm just a layman here but here's my take on it. Doesn't crushing the rock and thereby making it water soluble aid nutrient absorption into plants more quickly instead of having to wait thousands of years for the rain to do it? I thought that was the whole point of mining the stuff. I leave the tricky theory and formulas to the experts but one should never ignore the knowledge and wisdom of a troll. | charles clore
27/12/2016 14:50 | soul, assuming that Geology is one of your chosen subjects, as you mention it, would it be possible to explain how the minerals in the rock are made soluble to the plant, and how long is that process likely to take? I think the share price could move dramatically with so few shares in the free float. So I don't think this is one to bet the farm on just yet, especially without really understanding how the product would work. | kreature
27/12/2016 13:36 | I have filtered the idiot but may as well not have done with people responding to him all the time. If you ignore him he will go away. He just wants attention. Probably an only child, or if not, shunned by his siblings. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
27/12/2016 12:17 | I don't understand why the rock would want to disolve now and be soluble as a plant fertiliser, when presumably it's been happy to have been a rock at the surface for so long ? The mud field on the south side of the ridge is the stockpile area, not the actual mine site. I think the intended product is the rock on the north side. | kreature
27/12/2016 11:35 | I debated over my choice for the 'stock to double' competition this year, as there are several on my list. However, I went for Clon. That leaves HMI open to be nominated. | janestone
27/12/2016 11:34 | They've got the mining permit, plus the first potential customer...... but wouldn't the rock fertilizer have washed away over that last few thousand years if it were soluble and available to plant life ? | kreature |
