EXCELLENT EXPOSURE FOR HMI

Last week’s strongest gainer, fertiliser producer Harvest Minerals Limited (LON:HMI) pushed higher again this week, adding 12.5 per cent to 22p after the group said its Arapua project is on the cusp of reaping the benefits of significant investment as commercial production nears.

In its interim results statement released on Friday, Harvest’s chairman, Brian McMaster, said all four of its main targets in 2017 were achieved: to complete all the required agronomic test work at Arapua; to apply to register its product KPfértil with the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA); to achieve first sales; and to commission a modular processing plant to ensure that it is easy to expand production in line with sales.

‘Looking forward, 2018 is going to be another real step change for us as we focus on increasing our sales volumes and head towards commercial production,’ McMaster said.

Just saw the time stamp, oh well, might just be a forward-sell towards a placing? I notice the landowner agreement has to be re-negotiated for commercial production. I'd name the price if I were him

RNS Aug 2016
' ....the agreement will be re-negotiated when the project moves to commercial production, subject to the Company successfully applying for a full mining licence.'

The latest satellite picture 21st March is relatively very clear, though I don't know if that's a pothole at the entrance to the mine, or some sort of security hut to protect the rockdust? Would be nice if they could make a more up-to-date aerial video

I actually think Kreature and YP could be the same poster always appear at the same time.... and what’s the chances of one stock having 2 derampers that dedicate so much time to talking constant drivel looking at sat pictures etc....

It is at least very encouraging to see that 107k Buy there at the end which clearly demonstrates a great deal of confidence in the company.

I didn't notice any update on the outstanding Final Exploration Report approval from DNPM? FER approval is required before moving to the next stage, the feasibility study and environmental report. Anyone know why it's taking so long ?

September 2017 RNS:
....in April 2017, the Company submitted a Final Exploration Report on Arapua to the National Department of Mineral Production ('DNPM'), which detailed all the geological, metallurgical and agronomic work completed to date. The DNPM continues to consider the report.....

I'm no expert but perhaps the dust could be fed directly to the cows to save time growing the grass?

Yep a Rock Dust thats more beneficial than traditional fertilisers. Whats not t5o like. Love this paragraph from the interims. Last sentence sounds interesting.

The completion of all the required agronomic test works was particularly satisfying. Originally, we were told this would take 18 months, but through our proactive monitoring and engagement with all the agencies taking part, we were able to apply to MAPA in well under 12 months. Whilst, we will continue with further agronomic test work to assist our marketing efforts including our long-term coffee test work, all our agronomic studies to date indicate that KPfértil will work as both a remineraliser and a fertiliser. What is particularly exciting is that as it releases the nutrients slowly over time with very little lost due to leaching, it will outperform traditional fertilisers for perennial crops such coffee, sugar cane, grass, fruit trees and other forestry. As coffee and sugar cane are both major commercial crops close to our project, this is great news. The tests also suggest that grass, for which traditional fertilisers are unsuitable, could be a significant market for us with 50% of all farmland in Brazil is used for raising cattle.

On the grounds that there is no significant demand anywhere on earth for rockdust as a direct replacement for traditional fertiliser. It is preposterous to think that such dust could ever be a one size fits all replacement imv. I don't see how it can be described as a proven fertiliser unless the words proven & fertiliser have some artistic license. IMO ATB

More than 20 customers lined up.MAPA will make a difference as many of these are probably waiting for MAPA,even though some aren't.Funded for increased tonnage expansion.Plenty of chartists targeting 34p-41p here in the short term.

FER still not approved ?

Accumulated losses of just under $21m which would probably be worthy of some sort of LiveAid feed the world comparison, but without the actual food or feeding element

Extremely overvalued at the moment imo.

Possibly but it may well fall back to around current levels. However, new contract wins will make a difference.
