13/6/2022 13:56 | Specto. It is stupidly cheap though at these levels. People will still be saving and pension contributions may increase with wage inflation etc.ROCE well over 50% now I think and good div. Someone will buy them if it stays down here too long. | privileged
13/6/2022 13:46 | Not going to be nearly as much market activity in a bear market as during a boom. Daft really - days like this are the time to be punting. Not on HL tho, not for me yet :) | spectoacc
13/6/2022 13:40 | 800p is broken. Not a good sign. | action
12/6/2022 11:06 | Yeah, that’s what I meant. I was doing well until I bought these shares! I cannot understand why they are so low when the company have no debt and a steady increase in profits even prior to Covid. I use HL for my share account and they are fine. I am holding dividend payments for now in my ISA share account and if others are holding money hopefully HL will gain from the interest from this money. | amateurinvester
10/6/2022 18:02 | You mean 52 week low. With US CPI now up to 8.6% it's not surprising that all markets fell today, including HL. The only consolation for HL is that higher interest rates should mean a better return on the cash HL holds themselves and on behalf of clients. A further 0.25% rise is expected from the BoE next Thursday (16 June). HL are also debt free - a big advantage as rates rise. | ochs
10/6/2022 16:21 | 52 year low. I don’t think their figures are that bad. Hopefully we just need patience like a previous poster has said and some good news from HL! | amateurinvester
10/6/2022 16:21 | 52 year low. I don’t think their figures are that bad. Hopefully we just need patience like a previous poster has said and some good news from HL! I am also hoping the money being held in accounts will benefit HL with the interest I understand they receive | amateurinvester

10/6/2022 15:52 | It's finally happened Bought some at the death just because I think volumes might be up a tad with today's volatility .Anyone else feel the same. Added Aviva and Admiral to yesterday's misdeeds and for good measure bought Barclays There s blood on the streets but still have a few more pints This weather should do my Marston's punt the world of good As the old adage goes 'Its what your right arms for' Be lucky | jubberjim
09/6/2022 17:55 | Bit disappointed today Left small buy at 808 (state) but no cigar today Took opportunity to buy Admiral Aviva and lgen So 1 door closes another one opens Hope everyone is holding a little bit back but the market is very fickle No depth no sense no clue My new motto Take care all | jubberjim
09/6/2022 12:55 | Buying opportunity today as this is nearly 52 weeks low!Good luck | dipa11

08/6/2022 15:50 | weak finish and under 828p, so be interesting to see if we get a drop under £8 tomorrow or some sort of recovery. | ochs
08/6/2022 14:01 | Adding a few more. | lomax99
08/6/2022 11:44 | Dividend more like 4.8%, back to over 6% when Special returns..... | lomax99
08/6/2022 11:22 | Dividend yield over 6% now, for a business with a fairly captive customer base that seems rather generous. | yf23_1
08/6/2022 09:03 | Lomax Am not short Lack the financial acumen to short any stock (too much risk, lack of understanding) Take your pick But the same reservations I had and have as regards aquisition of II. by Aberdeen are there to the fore and apply equally as does the latest trading statement from AJ Bell as to volumes being impacted by the continuing uncertainty I signalled my buys a few days ago and yes I did sell too early but my misgivings have not gone away hence inflation not withstanding prefer liquidity that cash offers Good luck everyone | jubberjim
08/6/2022 08:24 | Anywhere between 825p and 838p would seem like a strong buy zone to me. | ochs
08/6/2022 07:33 | Sounds like someone pointing out that it bounced of long term support for at least the third time to me :-) | cwa1
08/6/2022 07:24 | Sounds like you are short. | lomax99 |
