Still sitting on my hands though will be sorely tempted the closer it gets to my 800 objective but think might be a bit of resistance as more buyers come in bargain hunting
Bought Barclays this am just for something to do and best value of the big 4 in my humble opinion but will look to sq up before close today

As I said cash is my preference at moment ahead of weekend let's see what sceptics do

The next major support doesn't really look to be until 828p (Oct 2014 low) although there could be a bounce if it gets down to the £9 area.

Thing is with HL share dealing alone still isn't a huge part of their business, so it shows the market doesn't really understand HL if it is being compared with Robin Hood.

Expecting possible dip down on back of news as to "Robin Hood " decline in share dealing expect will have an impact but waiting to get in for time being

Long weekend coming up prefer to be long of cash but have a silly buy order just in case a mad panic ensues

Bought today, Market Leader, no debt, Capital Light model, ROCE over 40%, Expanding into Fund & Wealth Mgt, Founder shareholders will make sure management performs. DY 4%, specials resume 2024.

Blackrock ups it’s stake, not surprised.

HL. PE 16, DY 4%, margins 50%+,net cash, market leader, structural growth story, etc.

Schwab PE in 30’s - an earnings accretive acquisition?

I’d get this sold, downside risk is really high and upside is limited. Risk reward balance isn’t good. Quality tech like Alphabet, tho not cheap, has come off, will be 3900-4200 in a years time, double what it is now in 5 years, the growth and cash generation is astonishing. I just loaded up with 200k usd worth….that and amazon my two biggest holdings by far, .buy it, you can sleep at night owning it! stuff like HL was a trade but now you’re just waiting for the hammer to drop, they will make an example out of HL and Link becos Woodfords cant really be done directly.

Woodford rearing it's ugly head again

Along with all the underlying problems expect more downward pressure as the Woodford saga continues

Case against Link proceeding and I expect Hargreaves Lansdown to come into some flack over the coming days

Batten down the hatches this could get ugly

@GrowthPotential - do you mean your SIPP is held with HL, or do you mean you've invested in HL shares for your SIPP?
