Dipped in today. Not entirely convinced about finance but I think the low oil price environment will be short lived, so hopefully this will recover quickly.

Better paying 26.5p than 110p

Thanks roger - that's perfect. I'll add it to the header.

It does look as if the GP has dropped since last years 40-50p to around 30 end '19, then lower to 20's early this year, and lower again since lockdowns to 15ish.

Humm... I wonder what Tolmount breakeven was based on - although I'd have expected them to have hedged much of that - or a take or pay contract. Maybe we don't want Dana's share afterall...?

Not sure this is entirely clear to me but it gives some figures.

Stan,
That artBerman article was a good, if scary, read. Thanks for posting.

thanks roger.... I'd forgotten the additional Tolmount.

UK Gas prices shouldn't be affected quite as much as the OP, since it's mostly used for electrical generation (and home consumers) so consumption COULD be higher with the lock-downs. But I've not looked too closely at UK gas forward prices... if such even exists. Anyone..?

I hold the bond (not the shares). I believe the
term of the bond was to be extended and the
interest rate raised (8.5%?).

I originally bought the bond at 60% of face value
in an earlier period when it was down on fears of
default, as indeed it is right now. At that time
it was a Questor tip.

Had to look back at this for the details. The Tolmount deal with Dana might still be reasonable as it is gas and not yet in production. The BP part indeed doesn't look so good now.

Was there not a variation in the terms of the retail bond in this somewhere?

I would certainly hope the current oil outlook would have a bearing on the court's decision, or if not, on PMO's offer price.

All these older assets (probably) have much higher costs and I would expect them to mostly (all..?) to be cash negative at today's oil price.m line. If the current situation continues for much longer, and the prognosis is for more of the same, I'd expect the sellers would be glad for us to take them off their hands for a song.

But is it too late to renegotiate the price? And more importantly, will we be able to renegotiate our debts (with or without them)?

Court approval of the schemes is required to provide lender consent for the announced UK North Sea Acquisitions, related funding arrangements and extension of Premier's credit facilities. Premier will provide a further update to the market once the Judge has made her decision.

Why is this taking so long? Does the Judge rule simply on the legality of the schemes or does the changed outlook for oil have any bearing on the decision?

andynow it makes sense, marky is betting on poo rises but has chosen pmo over the many other vehicles...as for it rising, it may well do, but when the market hits balance for the first time in years by virtue of shut ins and every available bucket in the world is full of oil - whats going to happen?will shale allow those buckets to drain or will they keep playing swing? will the assumed bankruptcies prevent shale meeting that need? place your bets

Marky,
All cash for the foreseeable.
What makes you think oil will be $40-$50 by year end?
The futures contracts are not suggesting that.

Here's one for you, I've booked and paid for me and my family to have a fortnight in the Carribean for my 50th, we are due to fly on the 18th of July, will we be going?

On a more positive note before the Brent June delivery contract officially rolls over later this week, if any of you have any questions on the recent presentation IR will be happy to respond. I was lucky enough to catch big Tone answering emails this weekend, thank you.

Rose,
It would make perfect sense to buy the oil and it would cost the US administration very little relative to what the China virus is costing them, let's hope now Boris is back our main parties work together and don't go down the political points scoring road like we are seeing in the States.

Jack,
Bankruptcy?

adg,
We know you have a life and a very good one as you keep pointing out, that begs the question why you feel the need to gamble on a stock like this?

The mid May update should be interesting.

Good luck all.
