21/4/2020 08:20 | whites123: have to disagree with this: "The picture in the market is not as bleak as this eye-popping headline would suggest." We can't say a situation of this gravitas is limited to the May contract because it very likely won't be. As things stand we are decently likely to repeat at June expiry, unless cavernous new storage suddenly comes online and/or demand goes vertical over the next four weeks. We can each take our individual view on that hapenning. Contract expiry doesn't wipe the macro slate clean each month, and so it's bleak to the point that we are writing history in oil markets. | manics | |

21/4/2020 07:38 | TLW and PMO always seem to appear in the same sentences... So I am certain many PMO supporters will be pleased to read and absorb the TLW news today. Many countries now relaxing the lockdown restrictions. This WILL have increase the demand on oil. Anyone who plays the line of the demise of oil really needs to re-evaluate their claims. It would lead to WW3. No doubt at all. Oil price will be supported by Saudis, Russia etc now. Possibly even further cuts ontop of the historic cuts we saw (Which have not played out yet). The demise of many US rigs will further strengthen the likes of PMO and TLW position in the market place. A lot of people stand to become very rich off the rebounds WHEN they come..
