Interactive investors winter list,
Lio, Safe, Xpp, Hlma, Adm, Synt, SXs, Hils,
It’s performed very well over the last 8 winters |
We're on are way back up , sky's the limit. |
Good support at 27.20 |
Yeah, my little buy at 2820 is not looking very clever. Will double up as soon as the fall shows a sign of ending. For some reason i think this could be around 2690p, where it has found (weak) support before. |
Bought back at 27.2747 - I await buyer's remorse! |
OK, back in, but not as big a holding as before, just 150 shares. Everything's a bit jittery just now. |
Back in peoples |
Not for me - yet |
Time to buy back in yet?
EDIT - apparently not |
And me, prospectives look a tad rich so correction to 27-27.5 feasible as a re-buy point? |
Bit of profit taking today - including myself. |
And almost 3100p. Nice! Honestly if I'd just put all of my money into Halma all those years ago and ignored my PEP/ISA until today I'd have done very nicely indeed. |
great looking NOR chart but quite a dip today . Hoping it will recover later in day and continue to a new ATH . |

Some 'analyst' has decided that the valuation was a bit rich (but put their target price up anyway). They note that other similar companies are on lower valuations possibly, just possibly, because they are not as high quality?
Excluding covid, Halma's price trend has been higher highs and higher lows for many years now. Not sure I'd buy more but I am a contented holder. |
B significant drop today but I cant see any reason unless it was a big profit take |
Well done epo001 you must have bought a long time ago because my yield on cost is 5% & i bought 10 years ago but the real benefit is 8x share price in that time. |
Didn't original buy it for the divi but have held it for so long that the yield is now 12.7% of my purchase costs. One of those "never seen a reason to sell" shares, hope GAW joins it in a decade or so. |
Results don't look too shabby, divi up 7% (not that any of us bought this for income). Market liked the numbers. Then they didn't. |

What does this late huge buy actually mean? |
Halma is like a well managed thematic fund/ ETF in its own right, really gathering momentum in the last 10 years...long may it continue. |
My oldest holding and 11% of my ISA. Had it for so long that I had forgotten exactly when (mid to late 90s, for my PEP) and why I bought it. Am currently using lockdown to review each of my holdings and those on my watch list to ensure that everything is in place for a good reason. This is helpful. |
Really good Presentation by Halma, thanks a lot |
