I had these a long, long time ago and I actually can't remember what I did with them, other than I got a good profit, after they were recommended by a broker very early on when they were small. Think I might have used the proceeds in business. |
Post 367...I am still here, Halma a stalwart of my portfolio and a consistent performer. Sold a number in March before Covid really hit hard and bought a few k's worth in October albeit at a higher price than my sale. My prediction of £30+ this year made in 2019 still stands. |
It doesn’t say much for ADVFN’s userbase’s stock picking ability, that there are only 365 posts here in a company that has such great share price growth since 2009 ! |

We have had a good start to the second half, with order intake ahead of revenue and up on the same period last year. Our improving trading performance, together with our strong cash position, will enable us to accelerate strategic investments in the second half of the year. As a result of our progress so far this year, we now expect Adjusted profit before tax for FY 2020/21 to be around 5% below FY 2019/20, compared to prior guidance of 5% to 10% below FY 2019/20. |

Statement from final accounts,
The final dividend for 2020 is subject to approval by shareholders at the AGM on 4 September 2020 and is EXPECTED TO BE PAID on 1 October 2020 to shareholders on the register as at 28 August 2020.

Back in at a shade under £18, but only at 30% of my previous holding... Halma is and always has been a top quality company, and as Buffetteer states, waiting for the next opportunity to buy back may take a very long time! Any further weakness, as well there may be if Covid reaches phase 2, then I'll reload with another 30 - 50% worth. |
