29/5/2012 19:46 | Management are selling down to meet tax liabilities (so they say). Hmmm | eswr
29/5/2012 15:04 | Somebody is in a hurry for the exit. Does any institution have a potential stock overhang position / large holding that anyone knows of a reason for their dumping ? | outsizeclothes.com
29/5/2012 14:09 | osc yes, you are correct but new stores opened in last 3/5 years should now becoming more profitable in the traditional porno business | cnx
18/5/2012 18:44 | I have been holding this share as I thought it would do OK during troubled times so I have been surprised at the recent dip. I would say to Scotches a P/E of 5 IS good value here at least in the medium term - but so far I have misjudged this sahe. | cutlosses
18/5/2012 14:54 | Well said scotches. If these aren't value here,we may as well stick our money under the mattress. | mikey34
18/5/2012 10:40 | What research are you meant to do now - the PE is going under 5. What is a PI going to be able to find out that is not there already in the published figures? Either you have some reason of why this market sector is stuffed, the whole financial system will crash or a P/E of 5 is great value. I dont know what further figures are worth computing. | scotches
18/5/2012 09:24 | Looks like 250p on the cards here. imo. dyor | aishah
09/5/2012 13:01 | XD for 7p and they go up..... | scotches
25/4/2012 15:24 | Noticed some significant buying today yet still the share price drops again, ? | cutlosses
18/4/2012 16:45 | Just what I was thinking. No significant drop in ABM's shareprice, so nothing sector related. Just have to wait and see (and look forward to the drop when it goes Xd in early May !) | gj2
18/4/2012 15:19 | Have I missed some bad news here? | cutlosses
17/4/2012 15:05 | A little MM fishing exercise to look for stop loss positions... seems as if this is now the bottom (2.80 - 290). My short term target is 3.30 | gwatson56
16/4/2012 16:55 | Just someone we can all learn something from... especially me (allegedly!) | and then
16/4/2012 16:50 | What is the last post all about? | cutlosses
12/4/2012 19:24 | Tipped in shares mag apparently. | sammu
11/4/2012 16:28 | M34 thanks i like the bricks and mortar part of the business for long term dividend growth | cnx
11/4/2012 11:42 | The received wisdom is that HAT has a massively lower valuation to ABM because it is much more reliant on gold purchasing. "Gold buying contributed 24% of gross profit." From the most recent ABM full year report. "In 2011, gold purchasing represented 26% of total gross profit." From page 14 of the most recent HAT report. Do these figures really justify the PE gap between the companies? | scotches
04/4/2012 16:45 | cnx, The answer is "25 new stores were added in 2011 (2010 :13) taking the total store estate size to 160 stores. In addition, the Group operates through 54 Goldbar units(2010:45) ". So thats 25 new stores plus 9 new goldbar units. | mikey34
03/4/2012 21:38 | of the 25 new stores how many were gold bar booths and how many were bricks and mortar? | cnx
30/3/2012 13:58 | Ill be topping up if they fall further. Hopefully the fall has stopped... | beefeater25 |
