20/12/2016 12:39 | That 1100p odd share price was an instant intraday kind of flash crash in reverse that happened on August 8th. It lasted a micro second. So for most people it was a case of you had to be there :) Not that us PI's would be allowed to take advantage of that momentary spike in any way shape or form. | velod
20/12/2016 12:14 | velod Typical analyst report with ridiculous innacuracies. Take the 1 year high of 1,180.47 as an example! Where do they get their stats from? | mylands
20/12/2016 12:04 | Tsk! Can't see my own posts on phone. Try again. As well as a TP of 849p they go on to say: "". . . 19/12/2016 20:12 | Edison says GVC goes into 2017 with very strong positive momentum that is still not reflected in its EV/EBITDA of 9.6x | lbo
19/12/2016 20:03 | JF they might be in a closed period soon, but so what, no hurry, everything's on track, wait until after Q1 results when we could be 700p+. These guys love to make money yet decided to take the lower amount. The Kalixa RNS was issued at the same time as the Options RNS to help support the share price and to divert attention.Same reason a trading statement accompanied the rns stating the FD is leaving.I think this will go down, that gap will get filled imo. | ballychan
19/12/2016 18:55 | the sale news of kalixa and xmas probably explains timing. Imho. | timanglin
19/12/2016 16:44 | Ballychan, it may that they have a tight window before they are back in a closed period. That said, although it would apply to buying or selling shares, I am unsure if that applies to the options as no shares are being bought or sold. Maddox, I think I agree with your sentiments, although I am not sure management are supremley confident given their choice of cash over shares! | jfishy55
19/12/2016 15:32 | They pocketed around £8.5m in total and considering their achievements, it can be argued it's fully deserved.I'm questioning the timing of it all. Inadvertedly they're telling the market a share price of circa 650p is a good price to cash in. | ballychan
19/12/2016 14:38 | in general, the more the interests of the management are aligned with shareholders, the better. This is a general comment. We, the owners of the company(in my case a relatively miniscule percentage), have been generous with the top management team, however they have delivered.I can give you examples where management have not delivered and yet have been rewarded, which really gets me annoyed. | timanglin
19/12/2016 13:44 | There were some options that required the share price to remain above £6 for 90 days, but I believe those particular options, which were at a zero cost to the recipients were transferred to cash at the time of the BWIN takeover and the cash used to buy shares in the names of the various directors. | popper joe
19/12/2016 12:36 | Agreed Ballychan, timing is a bit concerning. Director rewards at GVC have always been hefty. But I guess the share price performance over the last year justifies it. Awaiting the full year results to look over with some fine detail. | diviincomesearch
19/12/2016 12:10 | In order to cash in the Options the share price had to stay above 600p for 90 continuous days.Maybe they got a bit ruffled when we approached 610p and they thought it's the best time to cash out!I still am a bit concerned at their timing - they intentionally ramped up the share price in order to cash out. Why the hurry? They state things are progressing well, so why not wait until the share price better reflects your company? | ballychan
19/12/2016 11:43 | Hi fishy, thanks for that. Clearly we have some inconsistencies that we need to keep under review. Perhaps there is a logical explanation that will become clear in time. A takeover and integration makes it far, far more challenging to spot anomalies versus diversions in performance. However, the management team appear supremely confident and they have an excellent track record of execution - so not unduly concerned atm. Regards, Maddox | maddox
19/12/2016 10:24 | "I still dont understand your fixation" Maddox asked for a summary so I gave him one. As for a fixation, NGR is the key company metric for measuring the core business of GVC so I'm surprised that some dismiss it so lightly. You note the most recent guidance, are you able to give the half year guidance figures? As it happens, today, I am fixated on the sale of Kalexa & the boards options, which are of far more interest at the moment! Thus I am monitoring the board closely today whilst reading the various comments with interest. | jfishy55
19/12/2016 10:23 | Nurdin, nothing goes up in a straight line. 2016 has been a fantastic year for GVC holders. I have no reason at all to doubt that 2017 will not be the same. | brownie69
19/12/2016 10:20 | I wonder why they didn't wait until we got back to the 700p range?I couldn't see anything showing they needed to exercise now.It certainly doesn't encourage buyers on the sidelines to buy now! | ballychan
19/12/2016 10:05 | Not so devastated Nurdin, look at the 3 year chart.I've managed to pick up quite a pile of extra shares between 618p, and 680p... all of which will eventually be profitable, and will yield a dividend in the meantime. | festario
19/12/2016 10:01 | I wonder if anyone here took profits at 779p..the decline since then has been devastating for all holders. | nurdin |
