I would love to see a short squeeze, having received the negativity of some of the posters. However IO think we will see a continued re-rating as per the previous chart re rating. However, now that the integration seems to be gathering momentum, GVC is now definitely in the position of being taken over. Please note the previous BB comments on possible takeover bids.dyor, imho.

Okay that is your thought which I accept, but the ending
of your post is not. Rtd said they would be paying a
dividend which was worth 30% to me due to buying so low, but
they had an approach between dates and the dividend was
not honoured, as they said to me is was not guaranteed.

So please lets not get smart between long termers.

No of course not - It means they have hedged the exchange rate to guarantee the sterling price. D'oh.

One other point to mention is the div is fixed at 12.5p, removing any currency fluctuations between now and payment on the 14th February. That's the first time they have done that, and in these times of 'wild' FX movements, that gives certainty, for which I am very grateful.

Well well....GVC once again come up with the goods.

Did anyone really expect a special dividend on top of the special dividend? Can anyone here think of another example of this? I havent come across it in the last 20 years.

Also brilliant to hear the integration of bwin is ahead of schedule. This is IMPORTANT.

I'll say again, a takeover here at whatever premium would be a disaster for shareholders if we lose the "ownership" of the management talent here.
They are the best management I have come across in 20 years of investing.

There have been criticism of the bonus structure for the management here but today illustrates why they are paid so much - and how that helps to prevent them from being poached. If KA leaves, personally I would sell the lot.

Roll on 2017!

No Lam dividend yet, but recovery, I bought more at 58p earlier
this year now 96p. Super chart and a rising oil price.

GDL I started buying at 2p the other month now 3.3p, chart looks
excellent.

I see our de-ramper is still posting, not that I see the defamatory/libellous statements they make as they remain filtered.

At some point the company should take action against them, the sooner the better.
