I think we'll shortly be back at 700p and then on upwards, because by that stage there'll probably be another special divi on the way.

Christmas has come at last to us GVC holders. I've always said it about GVC, they are the one company I have invested in that has ALWAYS rewarded their shareholders by way of dividends and not just talked about promising jam tomorrow.

I think you're wrong, active. I think the 'guaranteed' means something else reassuring after all the recent speculation regarding takeovers and mergers which has probably temporarily depressed the share price - i.e. the cash won't be diverted elsewhere, it's 'guaranteed', wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Fear. Shortly to be replaced by greed, nurdin. The chart is almost identical to the June pullback. I reckon we will see a share price over £8 in the coming months, at least a 33% increase from here. There will be more special divis to come.

I was sure Kenny had planned an increase in divvy all along. However, my personal expectation was a 2 cent special. Never expected this much. Yey.

Fantastic - even increased the special dividend by 49%. A great performance. Just shows how ludicrous the current share price is. Record date is 6th January - not many trading days due to Xmas holidays.

Support of 605p still holding going into Thursday. That's bad news for the bears, as after each recent attack, support weakened and got lower, but it hasn't budged after today's action. Primarily because they closed no where near that support level! (Small victories and all that :)

. . . . . . . . EDIT: Good news on resistance too, it's come down to 620 - 625p to reach safety. All-in-all the bears have underperformed in their ambitions today and it shows with resistance levels coming down to be much more in GVC's favour than they were entering today.

LOL! Festy. I'm not here to promote, defend or attack strategies. If any one system worked 100% tirelessly without ever missing a beat - that would be it - game over! Every one would do that. Seriously thought for a minute there, you were going to take up srpactive's slightly delusional post (24245) and was about to say "....what most of us already know - that you are a double agent!" What fat finger? Last post of mine not showing up on smartphone so had to log in fully to go see - as I always check back to correct grammatical errors - and sure enough I'd accidentally hit the 'd' key instead of 's' in the word 'significantly'. Corrected now thanks srpactive. Pretty sure I'd seen you post something along the same lines before. What is that makes you say that - is it my preference for TA ? Why would you compare my posts to those of Slippy?
