I think it's a quality company, currently cheap with a whopping divi that is quite safe. With interest rates pathetically low, I'm going to be putting a lot more cash into the market over the next year as various older cash investments mature. Most of my more savvy friends are doing the same.

Okay, I just do not like the look of bkg chart ( but no chartist )
and London property market bit stretched don't you think?

No, I'm a buyer of both currently. Just took large profits in HSBC and top - sliced here which I'm now reinvesting.

So you are selling this chart and buying bkg?

Usual great buying opportunity here, imo. Still waiting for 729p... will I get it? Inching nearer...

Just bought a lot of BKG - virtually 8% divi at current prioe - not to be sniffed at.

Thanks for the suggestion.

The drift downwards continues. Needs a bit of good news to propel this back up. Mind you if we get down to the low 700's I will be back buying again.

At some point the continuing fall in Sterling, now closing in on $1.29/$ and below 1.15Euro/£, will be reflected in a re-rating of GVC with over 90% of its earnings in non-sterling areas. Can't wait for the div to return!

Festario/Woodhawk - You both seem like sensible chaps! Many of the boards here become unreadable because of the rubbish posted by folk with an axe of one kind or another to grind. Let's not do that here. We are all agreed that GVC is an excellent investment, let's keep the posts to matters relevant to GVC. Thanks.

I hate to see GVC fall in price (when I'm not buying them), but it does amuse me to see the gloating Woodhawk in a losing position on the trades he brags about.

Oh dear, you do have a rather large chip on your shoulder! I did say I had a buy order in - it was for 739P you fool. Why would I put in a buy order for the current price? Doh!! Happy trading!

....

Well, I'm off out for the day. Do you think my 729p buy order will be filled too, Fester? Even better than I hoped.

Woodhawk, you have exposed yourself as a liar and a fantasist because you said you had a buy order at 746p.If you are going to lie, in order to keep on trying to look better than everyone else, please try to develop a better memory.Just imagine Woody, some people bought at 738p, a massive 8p better than you..... your need to be best trader on Earth is in tatters.Pack the game in man.
