01/2/2017 09:06 | I too think a tieup with WMH is the next logical step. | investmentguru
01/2/2017 08:42 | I think the head of steam is building before the wmh bid for gvc. If combined wmh will be a solid ftse 100 company with Kenny Alexander at the helm. But it must be north of 800p. dyor regards active | srpactive
31/1/2017 15:15 | Thanks for post Gez! | mnomis
31/1/2017 11:13 | Well, the big chunky seller never did reappear, but the world situation is serving to hold many good shares back. | festario
31/1/2017 09:41 | Morning all, does anyone know who bought the ex bpty ceo's shares? I do not want this to happen but I reckon gvc will be bought within the next twelve months and partly due to the above article. Companies need a very good on line presence and we have one and a fantastic ceo aswell. The bid would have to be 800p plus. dyor regards active | srpactive
31/1/2017 09:18 | I see we are back at the 600p level once again. At the moment nothing seems to want to make this move north. As I have said before it's news from the company we need and not just analysts' reports, however bullish they might be. Two weeks till we get our divi. That will be good having waited a year since the last div. | mylands
31/1/2017 08:34 | Bad news out today for the betting shop owners. Luckily GVC does not own a single shop! Could that cause some switching by investors who want exposure to gambling but dont like the risk that this poses to a major revenue stream for the shop owners? | brownie69
31/1/2017 07:33 | Sounds good,if it can repeat it for rest of 2017,and beyond.GVC are due a nice uplift. | garycook
31/1/2017 02:11 | GVC was IC best investment for 2016, and it turned out to be their best growth stock in this sector, and they are saying it will be the best again in 2017. | festario
31/1/2017 01:22 | Nicely in Gez! | festario
30/1/2017 19:39 | Gez 24892, thanks for the post | 666james
30/1/2017 17:11 | I'd post it, but it's in PDF, and I can't post that plain text on here. | festario
30/1/2017 16:41 | @ Plasybryn - could you give a very high-level summary thanks (don't have access). Many thanks | mnomis
30/1/2017 15:39 | It's an excellent article Plasybryn, and one that anyone shorting this company should heed well! | festario
30/1/2017 15:17 | Have you seen the Investors Chronicle article - Your guide to the FTSE 350 - Gambling"? GVC comes out well. | plasybryn
30/1/2017 13:24 | We could do with another exec order, perhaps one legalising online gambling across the US! What a loose cannon that guy is proving to be. | crazycoops
30/1/2017 12:42 | I'm working on getting us another blue day, 616p I'm aiming for... I just hope that nice Mr Trump doesn't ruin it for us. | festario
28/1/2017 10:59 | In the first 2 weeks of January, Norbert the sherbet, sold £8.4m in shares representing half his stake (previous to that he first started selling after completion of the takeover = £2.2m). . . . After all that it now left him with 1.4m shares. Festy reported some repeated sells of large looking amounts on Thursday and Friday, so if those large sells were Sherbert's, then he can't have that much left to do further damage. He's already a multi millionaire so what kind of businessman sells £8.4 million in just two tranches over two weeks flat, when he could have drip-fed sold that in much smaller amounts over say 1 or 2 years - and got potentially a ton more money? | velod
28/1/2017 10:10 | Norbert is a Liability.He must be history very soon !!! | garycook
28/1/2017 10:09 | As mentioned by Edison, propose staying with this until we enter ftse 100. Kenny has ambition for that, surely, before easing off after a meteoric run. | rhuvaal2
28/1/2017 10:00 | 100% agree brownie, he truly is a waste of space. I wonder if his place at GVC is a 1 year transitional deal and on Feb 2nd we will hear he's out of here? | crookman
28/1/2017 09:29 | I suggest no one should put any store by Norbert T selling stock. Dont forget that he was CEO of Bwin and thus oversaw a huge destruction of shareholder value for their shareholders with a history of poor management decisions. Dont know thus why anyone would see his sales as an indicator of anything other than him realising that he does not have a long term future on the GVC board. His previous GVC sales have been ill times and IMHO he is clueless. | brownie69
