Yes that is why I bought more earlier, silly low valuation
it is being kept down for someone.

Been out of this stock for a while but buying the IPO theme here...back of Segev comments re internal consideration and with Retail closed still looking to make c800m EBITDA online 2020, which given the accounting treatment of the JV excludes US..few headwinds 2021 110m hit Germany ..GC possible UK hit, UK government certain hit 2022-similar to Germany 110m would be a good result..tax case, best case scenario a fine...on the plus side £130m cost savings coming through 2022 (or is it 2021, as integration may be done)..£50m online upgrade for 2021...add in a bit of growth and 2021 could be +800m online..with retail back open +100m ..throw in more chat of an IPO..US states opening...to +20 for GVC next year..if it was Bakeoff, you would think it has all the ingredients for a well turned out and well priced operation >£16

Well that is another good point and again confirms why
we must get to the land of opportunity as soon as possible,
as we should be getting a dividend now, but due to the
holier than though IDS and co we will have to be very
careful when we do, move to the US and reimburse all the
lost dividends would be my suggestion to management.

No. Dividend will be reviewed during March results and dependent on Covid situation.

You think reasonable to expect dividend resumption in January update?

Well your post just shows how quickly we need to get roar on the
nasdaq to get a super high valuation.

DraftKings $18bn+ market cap, $323M 2019 net revenue. Making 100s of millions in loss and relying on shareholders to fuel ongoing spend rate.

GVC £5.6bn market cap, £3.6bn 2019 net revenue. We have a Worldwide business with strong cash flows, enabling us to fund growth in US and elsewhere, pay down debt and pay dividends.

There's a lot of Fanduel they don't own which seems to have been missed by quite a few who think they have the lot. There's a plentiful aspect of that deal yet to consummate

Flutter has £2.8bn of net debt, no way can they afford another £6bn+ to buy GVC. If they buy anything it will be the 42% of FanDuel they don’t already own.

Inflate flutter paper and lower gvc's price, obvious
approach tactic to me.
Also change the name to fit in with flutter, and talk of
spinning off Roar. Broker upgrades target to 1600p,
I feel a bid bid is on its way.

Flutter and GVC used to track pretty neatly - seems some divergence at the moment though. This seems undervalued at this point.

Merism, yes this is correct but it has been a journey, they needed to get the BetMGM app seamlessly integrated with Yahoo Sports, this was only completed recently and is doing very well based on the first two weeks of data.

Now all Yahoo Sports clients can place bets with BetMGM without leaving Yahoo site. Yahoo has 40M fantasy sports subscribers.

They have also integrated M life with BetMGM. All 30M M life customers are now BetMGM customers. Also note, M life are high value customers.

They've been working together since Nov 2019, so presumably the numbers from the last 12 months were too low to report publicly?https://sbcamericas.com/2019/11/15/yahoo-sportsbook-powered-by-betmgm-is-officially-launched/

Well not really concerned, I just concentrate on
what I do, and I know I have not finished buying
gvc for certain. Any Roar spin off will make us
a fortune in my view.

they said its too early to start sharing numbers as they only completed the integration of the BetMGM app with Yahoo Sports two weeks ago but early indication on cross sell numbers are very good.

Interesting that GVC didn't want to give any numbers about the cross sell from Yahoo at the investor day last week.

Throw away comment by Segev that they are "actively considering IPO of Roar" and the implication that MGM are similarly minded.. (Whilst qualifying that delivery is the main focus..)

Well regardless, we are in the Premiership league here and our share price is set to go through the roof over the next 5 years, our sights set on being the World leader.

Sit back and enjoy!

Didn’t 888’s earnings beat see EBITDA estimates go up by about 50%? GVC’s numbers saw this years EBITDA estimates go up by about 5% and 1% next year.

Interesting comparison between
888 pure online...up +3.7% since October 1...produced expectation beating numbers, no B+M...100% online...Major beneficiary of Covid
GVC 80-90% online, down -11% since Oct 9...produced expectation beating numbers...most shops closed due to impact of Covid...

Rightly or wrongly, gaming stocks are seen as COVID beneficiaries, so as we move closer to a vaccine capital is moving towards the laggards, hotels, retail, caterers etc. It’s market rotation rather than bottom up stock picking.

Price reaction is dismal, all the good news will hit home eventually then we will fly.

We are slso on the FTSE4good, meeting the benchmark for Environmental, Social and Governance.

Leading the charge for regulation and safe gambling sure is a nice hat to wear and of course they have to be at the centre of this. Sure doesn't do much for the price action though!
