29/5/2018 09:04 | Active ...and pigs will fly! | mylands
29/5/2018 08:51 | M Maybe as a goodwill gesture to appease the noise from some, they could reward longstanding shareholders with some of their share awards. | srpactive
29/5/2018 08:26 | Here is the ezj chart, ezj joined the ftse100 in March 2013, so maybe an indication for gvc if we do, ocdo dropping, dyor. I do not hold anymore but initially bought ezj in 2004 at 126p. ==================== | srpactive
29/5/2018 07:15 | GVC in automatic position for entry in the FTSE100 as of close of business on Friday. The closing prices tonight that will determine the entry/exit positions. | mylands
28/5/2018 09:28 | The newspaper articles forget to congratulate them for their phenomenal success in growing the business to what it is today and receiving their due rewards. | coxsmn
28/5/2018 08:11 | In the States where these sort of bonus packages are not unusual investors back them because they know successful executives are good news for investors. Shame it's not the same in the UK where too often it's the politics of envy. PS I'm voting for the Directors' Remuneration. | mylands
28/5/2018 07:34 | I agree with S and Ooh | coxsmn
27/5/2018 19:02 | o Completely agree, GVC was only worth £100m approx when I started investing, now it is worth £6bn and about to enter the ftse 100. About time the critics kept quiet. | srpactive
27/5/2018 15:33 | Bonus tied to share price which is good for us. I have no problem what CEOs earn with profitable companies. It's the ones that get obscene bonuses for failure. Don't know how he can say it's galling when the only galling thing is that he gets paid to write tripe!!!! | oohrogerpalmer
27/5/2018 12:55 | Not a glowing report for KA in today's Mail. Next AGM (6 June) should be interesting. | tas11osc
27/5/2018 06:50 | Noujay. I completely agree with you. This silly name-calling is so childish and achieves nothing. | altom
26/5/2018 20:01 | gersemi, You really do need help. Incel is no badge of honour. w1 | woozle1
26/5/2018 19:31 | Nou - I Completely agree with your sentiments. | loganair
26/5/2018 19:16 | With the greatest of respect to all here, it would be really nice for this thread to not go in a personal direction and focus on the co at hand. Not to sound judgemental and all perfectly entitled to their own views, and on everything too, but I've often enjoyed chatting about a firm with various posters on these boards only to find that things go sideways and lose any connection to the real theme. This one always seems polite and well informed, which is for me, like GVC and Ladbrokes, a winning combination.GL to all. | noujay
26/5/2018 17:24 | Gersemi, Think you should seek help with views like that. Are part of the InCel movement? You sound like you've been radicalised! w1 | woozle1
26/5/2018 17:05 | Anyone think that there will be a divi for the first half of 2018, later this year? | shayadfn
26/5/2018 09:06 | NY Times article wrote: "Proposed legislation would allow the two tribes, the Connecticut Lottery Corporation, and Sportech, which operates off-track betting parlors in the state, to offer sports betting."So, Sportech is one of four operators proposed to be legalised in Connecticut for sports betting. | nod
26/5/2018 08:15 | New Jersey’s state legislature is expected to take up a bill regarding regulation of sports betting in the first week of June, with votes on the bill tentatively scheduled for June 7. In New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, has said that legislation is needed before going forward, and that won’t happen until next year at the earliest. In California, legislators face a June 28 deadline to ratify a bill that would place a constitutional amendment on the ballot this November. California officials have already said that the deadline is likely to pass without a bill, which makes the 2020 ballot the earliest an amendment could appear. In Pennsylvania the state legislature authorized sports betting in 2017 on the condition that federal law allowed for the practice, but it also slapped a $10 million licensing fee on bookmakers and approved a 34 percent tax rate on the revenue. It’s not expected that any bookmakers are going to attempt to enter the market in Pennsylvania until there’s far more clarity on the leagues’ bargaining power and the structure of potential federal regulation. | loganair
26/5/2018 07:57 | As a long term investor I do not really care what the shorters do or the daily share price movement is. If one just took a look at the GVC share price once every 3 months then one would see the share price has risen. | loganair
26/5/2018 07:36 | I see the shorts are still in play, so be careful, I added to the run up trading update. Took 1500 shares off the table last thing on friday(this is a drop in the ocean as I hold over 227k) | shayadfn
25/5/2018 18:38 | loganair Good point, should have realised that. | mylands
25/5/2018 16:22 | ASOS are in AIM and therefore do not have a full FTSE listing and therefore can not go into the FTSE 100. | loganair |
