Here is the ezj chart, ezj joined the ftse100 in March 2013,
so maybe an indication for gvc if we do, ocdo dropping, dyor.

I do not hold anymore but initially bought ezj in 2004 at 126p.

In the States where these sort of bonus packages are not unusual investors back them because they know successful executives are good news for investors. Shame it's not the same in the UK where too often it's the politics of envy.

PS I'm voting for the Directors' Remuneration.

Completely agree, GVC was only worth £100m approx when
I started investing, now it is worth £6bn and about
to enter the ftse 100. About time the critics kept
quiet.

Bonus tied to share price which is good for us.
I have no problem what CEOs earn with profitable companies.It's the ones that get obscene bonuses for failure.
Don't know how he can say it's galling when the only galling thing is that he gets paid to write tripe!!!!

With the greatest of respect to all here, it would be really nice for this thread to not go in a personal direction and focus on the co at hand.Not to sound judgemental and all perfectly entitled to their own views, and on everything too, but I've often enjoyed chatting about a firm with various posters on these boards only to find that things go sideways and lose any connection to the real theme.This one always seems polite and well informed, which is for me, like GVC and Ladbrokes, a winning combination.GL to all.

New Jersey’s state legislature is expected to take up a bill regarding regulation of sports betting in the first week of June, with votes on the bill tentatively scheduled for June 7.

In New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, has said that legislation is needed before going forward, and that won’t happen until next year at the earliest.

In California, legislators face a June 28 deadline to ratify a bill that would place a constitutional amendment on the ballot this November. California officials have already said that the deadline is likely to pass without a bill, which makes the 2020 ballot the earliest an amendment could appear.

In Pennsylvania the state legislature authorized sports betting in 2017 on the condition that federal law allowed for the practice, but it also slapped a $10 million licensing fee on bookmakers and approved a 34 percent tax rate on the revenue. It’s not expected that any bookmakers are going to attempt to enter the market in Pennsylvania until there’s far more clarity on the leagues’ bargaining power and the structure of potential federal regulation.

As a long term investor I do not really care what the shorters do or the daily share price movement is.

If one just took a look at the GVC share price once every 3 months then one would see the share price has risen.

I see the shorts are still in play, so be careful, I added to the run up trading update. Took 1500 shares off the table last thing on friday(this is a drop in the ocean as I hold over 227k)

ASOS are in AIM and therefore do not have a full FTSE listing and therefore can not go into the FTSE 100.
