25/6/2018 08:39 | They have Lads & Corals here & plenty of ads from those. They're also pretty big in Europe with Bwin so no doubt plenty of ads in Germany and rest of Europe. Also Lads cover Australia and GVC are covered in places like Columbia. All in all this WC will exceed all others & GVC will benefit hugely. | oohrogerpalmer

21/6/2018 12:52 | Rhode Island's Senate has approved Bill S7200A, paving the way for sports betting. All that's needed is the Governor’s approval before Rhode Island becomes the third state to legalise sports betting in the US post-PASPA. New York state legislators failed to pass a controversial sports betting law before closing their legislative session on Wednesday. | loganair
21/6/2018 05:54 | I see the short positions haven't changed for a while, still at 5.72% | shayadfn
20/6/2018 21:26 | Rhode Island on the cusp of legalising sports betting: Rhode Island’s Senate Finance Committee is the latest US state to gear up for legalised sport betting, hoping to follow Deleware and New Jersey. A full Senate vote is expected later this week. It's approval could be the last step before Deleward returns the bill to Governor Gina Raimondo for approval. The governor has reportedly included $23.3 million in revenue from legal sports betting in her next budget. Should the bill become law, Rhode Island will join New Jersey and Delaware who became the first states to accept sport bets after the US Supreme Court PASPA decision in May handed decisions about sports betting regulation to the states. The bill does not include the “integrity fee” which pro sport leagues have actively been asking for, and, instead, forbids the payment of any fee to professional leagues. | loganair
20/6/2018 21:22 | Clock ticks down on New York Sports Betting Bill: With one day to go before lawmakers adjourn, New York's sports betting bill is looking more and more unlikely to pass. Changes were made to the bill in a frantic scramble over the weekend but there it is still uncertainty about whether the amendments go far enough to win over a divided Assembly. One of the biggest issues that keeps cropping up is the issue of regulation. The bill would allow bets to be placed through mobile phone apps. Time is an even bigger problem. The 2018 legislative session officially ends on Wednesday. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has already said there aren't enough days to get the work done. “We’ll do an economic analysis, but nothing is going to happen this year because there is literally just a number of days left in the legislative session and this would be a very big issue to tackle," Governor Cuomo said in May. But New York moves quickly and the bill is not dead just yet. “If I was a betting person, and if we had sports betting in our state, I would say that we will pass the Senate version of the sports betting bill through finance, through the Senate, but im unsure about the Assembly,” said State Senator, Joseph Addabbo Jr, in an interview with City & State New York. It is unclear whether New York's sports betting bill will be passed on Wednesday, but given enough time lawmakers may be able to tackle the regulatory issues and pass a new law in the future. | loganair |
