I think out a short position to hedge my long as it seems the market is not a fan , this is not something I like to do as a rule but I really don't want to sell my shares as I like everything here I work in the industry and I would only buy back in at some point if I do sell ,,

What's not to like is the share price has been in a 150-160p range for 5 months! Other than that, all is excellent!

Good rns, fleet capacity to be expanded by 66% and expect a new 4 year contract win. If this drops much lower over the coming months, definitly will increase my holding, oh and a maiden divi, hopefully to be progressively increased. Manageable debt down also, what's not to like?

oregano - i'm not sure I follow that principle. are you implying that all high POR companies have low returns? with high margins can GMS not grow and return some cash to s/h? also, not sure GMS can improve returns by just adding capacity (unless pricing improves significantly).

rolo - why pay a dividend when the capital can be reinvested at such high returns?

Personally I don't mind waiting for a profit, until any question marks appear ? I will continue to hold here as there is value ,,

I would however contest that quite a lot has happened here in the last 6 months. The business has done exactly what I want it to do - make money. A portion of which I look forward to receiving by way of the maiden divvy.

Well the market doesn't scream value to me at present. Im a buy and hold kinda guy, at least until the story changes. Besides the bombed out E&P sector where I'm well loaded I'm not seeing much that excites me. Rather be invested in a solid business like this which is delivering solid revenue increases than chase the next hot stock or sector. Some are good at that- I'm not one of them....tried and failed in the past.I have been buying some EM Investment trusts plus some good companies with large EM exposure that have taken a hit this year. Ill continue to hold here. Good luck in your endeavours.

Well somebody likes it 220,000 worth.
I suppose it's not high octane miner drilling for oil, but it looks a great solid business with good growth potential, Rome wasn't built in a day!!!

good to get a respectable first set of numbers out post IPO. agree
it could be slow burn but there is good demand and they make high
returns, so happy to sit on it in a SIPP. It is not priced for high
growth.

Well they seem to be very close to leasing out first new vessel which is already contracted. Therefore clear expectations of significant revenue and profit from this point forwards as each new vessel comes on line between now and 2016.

sludgesurfer - Im with robthebruce, sold up today, better
opporunities elsewhere. Why hold if no movement? Nothing has
happened in six months!

I've decided to sell. The share price is going nowhere ATM. There will be
growth but only as the new vessels are delivered. There seems to be
little scope for growth otherwise as market rates and vessel
utilisation are already high. There is also the remaining overhang
of stock to be sold by the venture cap guys and I notice from short
tracker that someone has been building a short position in the last
week or so. I may buy back in later in the year but for the moment
my cash is better used elsewhere. Good luck to the long term
holders. It should be a good cash generator eventually.

Yes. Very thinly traded in general. One of these stocks that I like, I'm happy to hold, yet I can't quite see what the catalyst will be for a rerating.

Doesn't seem any interest in GMS at all. Only 1250 shares traded on
interim results day so far. Results look solid, but nothing
exciting. Just like the share price sadly...
