I am surprised that, if so many in The City know of the claimed impending deal there has not been large quantities if City money buying the shares in large quantities producing a large,possibly frantic, rise in the SP

In 2012 the CITY conned 35,000 retail IN to a non existent takeover.

It’s very difficult to tell whether the fruit loops are part of the orchestrated sentiment bash here and at LSE, or they are just incredibly stupid , or both, and despite having the corporate actions and implications spelt out , don’t get it.
The most obvious incoming takeover, that has gestated for at least 18months , I suspect far longer , and GKP lawyers stage managing the formal execution.
