With all of this information, why ever did you ever invest?Or did it only become apparent it was 'sludge' once you'd lost your shirt?

Back payments would be a bonus. I would love it to happen but I would trade them for regular on time payments and an agreed contract.

There is one thing that does spring to mind in regard to transfer - backpayments! could be a sticking point! again would need to be clarified by lawyers....

I'll explain again, the Kurdish oil wasn't top quality and it was at a huge discount to Brent. The oil coming up from Kirkuk is quality and Baghdad are trying to achieve a top quality blend in order to get top dollar.

I believe there is only one producer in Kurdistan that matches that quality. So anything else that gets added to the mix will make it less value.

What was it you were saying about "its nice to have an adult conversation"?

And if course if the contracts transferring, ICG needs to stump up the 151m bucks owing...mmt - "Companies with existing contracts with the KRG must transfer those contracts to the Iraqi Ministry of Oil - transfer means on existing terms btw - which is great if I am correct.I can't see no objections by any AKIPUR company here.."Myles Caggins 4 days ago - "We have provided everything necessary to conclude a new agreement, and we want to keep our agreements in place, even if they come under the control of the federal government."

It doesn't so dream on.

You think they will value the sludge 11 API the same as the top quality 39 API!!!

Turkish President Erdogan is expected to arrive in Erbil within the next 30 minutes. The key meeting will be a closed-door meeting with KDP President Masoud Barzani, where critical issues such as the PKK and oil will be discussed. https://twitter.com/KurdistanWatch/status/1782442773976609019?t=PZEgQlGvcGB8VYe8Ornb3w&s=19

I can't see anything but what wasn't already suggested in the public domain.. offer of some sort of I'll make sure these Iranian backed nutters don't feel feel threatened and off our backs if you lot don't shoot at them (a sort of amnesty/cold war) and keep all of us safe, more water for oil than you expected, lets build this transport network and do business...

I think the surprise is they managed to come to a deal all feeling happy if I am right! They haven't exactly been all that friendly in the last decade...

Thanks Biden (even if the geriatric was told what to say - least he listens, not sure Trump would have done the same) I say for stating the obvious and banging some sense into all of them....

Don't the ME have enough problems!

I am pretty sure we will all find out tomorrow morning 7:05.

ALL APIKUR companies will have to declare by stock exchange rules. It is material difference to company, hence has to be declared to shareholders, assuming any have received any offer.

Like I said KRG have already agreed to transfer oil rights to SOMO in exchange for regular payments of civil workers etc

Oh there was a budget article I saw this morning etc... didn't post as thought oh well, was on kurdaw or k24 - sure some1 can find it - that budget ammendment in day or so... ;) plus was older than a day... think it said something water and oil to be amended yet again... but that also gave me an inkling...
