"just when we are about to hit 58K a day"

Really nestofBS?

The latest announcement from the company said they were at 45k a day.

So where is "your" 13k arriving from?

Right on cue Yahoo forecast a 21% drop in earnings for GKP just when we are about to hit 58K a day ! Of course the market isn't bent, how dare you. If there is a drop in the new blend price then we will have the slack taken up by the increase in blls.

Arcadian I dont know why you bother posting as your stance has been aired on this BB for 12 years now. GKP not for the average investor but highwire act nutters and the super rich who just don't care. I always expected more games near the end.

Poor old FE11 still hasn't grasped the fact that the hosts are able to back into the 80% WI and take 35%. And poor old scotty still can't work out why they are still to do just that, lol.

"Yeah Arcadian I agree about the politics and GKP is on the radar of just about everyone in the industry and has been since 2009".

More BS and garbage from the poster that's been saying the same thing for 13 years.

"US majors want GKP, imo. So do the Chinese.
Someone's going to be disappointed when this kicks off"

No one wants them, no one has shown any interest in them ever since DNO walked away back in 2016 at way less than £1. Thirteen years on and no one believes that there is even a small fraction of Kozel's hyped up BS barrels. If they did the company would have been bought years ago and for much less than the current price that is way over the top due to the fake oil price. Its only you morons that will continue to be disappointed!!!

Also the oil law that you morons were saying was agreed is again going backwards. Just as I said it was.

Facts not fantasy.

The would have another 100m cash if they hadn't paid off bond, merely refinanced it.....They not bothered about cash .....New owners will do all the fwd financing

No debt & cash in the bank makes any delayed circumstances a lot easier to ride out.

80% WI in the giant Shaikan trumps everything else.

Think this is a super prudent take on cash flow generation alone.Even at three and a half quid.....Real value here is at sale .The net entitlement reserves are worth multiples more. Thanks JB LSE -

John

The weakness in that analysis is

"No major weaknesses identified for GKP."

It is clear that the political environment is a major concern and we await clarification about income calculation, flow and security, key ingredients of any assessment. and any company analysis.

Whispers suggest that shadow players from the US are very interested in GKP and are hoovering up whatever stock they can get atm.

The unseen hand is hard at work.

No time to pounce , is when everybody is fearful.....like yourself.Be greedy when others are fearful..Most likely a long since agreed sale..Hostile is possible, but less likely

I agree. We need to know the company`s take on how things are going and what can be expected.. I would expect a predator as soon as the horizon looks more reliable and favourable.

The plus side of no dividends is that the exchange rate is not favourable.. When the dividends are paid hopefully the Dollar/sterling rate will be more kind.

PS with all the new agreements, basis for calculations etc changing and a newly found unity /pride it is always possible that they might choose pay us in Dinars to mark the new era of The iraqi Oil Company.

So HKN spelling out the unwillingness to pay is a strange comment - as I thought it was connected to KBT Grade price agreement - the KRG have let us down once again, but why? they can not be short of funds after receiving payment form there customers this last few months - I wonder what there game is this time.

HKN Energy Ltd are also attending Pareto Securities and have a new presentation on their website as of today.

Small snippet below

• $168 million in outstanding receivables at year end
– $97 million of which is past due
• Only 10 payments received in 2022
• HKN amended its oil sales agreement with KRG
effective September 2022
– Oil price now referenced to Kurdistan blend (KBT) rather
than dated Brent price
• KRG unwillingness to make payments on timely
basis is forcing HKN to reconsider development
spending in 2023
