Oil price

With no company news yesterday I didnt write just about the oil price as there wasnt much to add, Beijing slashing rates, rig count down 1 overall and u/c in oil and a warning about the Nordstream 1 three day service on 28th August. I will come back to the gas price shortly…

Today the price has firmed a touch after the Saudi Oil Minister, in an interview with Brian Sullivan of CNBC suggested that the next Opec+ meeting might start to ‘tighten production’ to keep actual prices in touch with paper futures.

In fact he nearly suggested that the oil price was being manipulated albeit how big that would be, my read is that as before he is warning speculators that it can be an expensive game shorting crude oil…

Retail gasoline continues to fall, the average you will pay for a gallon of Shell’s finest last week was $3.88 which is down 5.8c w/w, a fall of 45c m/m but still up y/y by 73.5c. Good elasticity which we don’t see in the UK, maybe due to taxation…?

The share price is where it is nestofBS simply due to the fake oil price as otherwise it would be at £1.50 due to all the failures in trying to achieve the 8 years in the coming 55k a day.

Then there's all the data from the past that hasn't been valid ever since Kozel was sacked, join up those clues. Then there's the fact that the field has enormous expensive problems to be fixed that all you rampers are in denial about.

Perhaps the hosts are going to buy the company/percentage they need to control so as to keep the reserves hidden as you idiots believe?

I used to think if we end the week above 250 or 300 things might stick , it hasn't up till now.

Why are we bothering with these single digit pounds anyway ? it's pathetic and not worth mentioning , at £10 a share Mk Cap of £2.13 Bn , we were over £4 Bn once at 10 K blls a day and 50% WI. The share price is where it is because the suits want it there.

Now, I don't want to start a stampede to the hills in pursuit of gold BUT... speculation maybe...Stated is the following... GKP declaration date 2nd Sept ex div date 23rd Sept with pay date 8th October Divi expected 17.093.
