My understanding is that the Baghdad ruling only applies to any KRG deals made pre 2007. GKP is not affected.

PS why would BAGHDAD "blacklist" independent operators that don't have any operations in the South?Now of course if SHAMARAN , GENEL, GKP , were subsidiaries of XOM or other IOC that do have opps down south , then of course that blacklisting may be persuasive,and have impact.BAGHDAD is trying to stop IOC start M+A in Kurdistan!Because they know it's coming....

Don't know OAP.... still think a hostile bid is possible pre AGM.The BOD must have had several approaches and to date obvs rejected them all.They are at their most vulnerable now until post AGM.FAT MALCY who is an AIM oily paid promoter did point out when Genel CEO +2 NEDS removed at their AGM it could be proxy by stealth takeover.For once I agree with him..I suspect GKP under lots of corporate pressure currently too..

Earlier this week and today was/is the time to buy, we are coming up to US holiday season and in the 21 years I've been trading Oil goes up most of these times going into July, this year is different where there is now a deficit of oil production because of Russian sanctions, your probably see oil near the end of June pushing over $130 + and also GKP going ex div also along with KRG payment RNS will see GKP pushing 340p + IMO.

Strong buy IMO.

I use IG to follow prices etc.

Every now and then I click on the "shares" tab - this lists shares in "most popular" first.

Not entirely sure what the definition is.
I look to see Tesla - I wanted to have the balls to short it when it was at $1,000 - but knew that might wipe me out.
However, I scrolled down a few share and what did I see?
About number 20 - GKP!
When watching the piddly few trades on ADVFN - one realises that the LSE is far from the only market where GKP can be traded.
Lots of positions being closed with the recent drop.
MMs love volume.

Anyhow, my personal view, the drop in oilies is overdone.
Most oilies, including GKP, will do very well over the next twelve months
