The world’s physical oil market is running hot, offering a boost to bulls.

Prices for cargoes reaching oil refineries in Asia in two or three months’ time have been rallying strongly all over the world so far this year.



The time lag between when those shipments are purchased and when they’ll reach the world’s top importing region means the traders are effectively having to take a view on how the current omicron outbreak will play out, especially in China.

Could Oil Really Reach $200?

Oil is about to post its fourth week of gains in a row, and the outlook remains bullish thanks to supply constraints and demand strength. But one hedge fund manager is even more bullish than that.

Doug King, head of the Merchant Commodity Fund, enjoyed record returns last year, gaining 74 percent in 2021 and beating its previous record of 59 percent set in 2014—another boom year for oil right before the bust. But now, King is expecting further gains in the price of oil, saying it could even reach $200 per barrel over the next five years.

I am not sure about more and more gains , the Oiligarchs are selling their stock , articles like this one are possibly to suck retail money into false market. The Evergrande disaster in China is a bubble that has yet to burst I reckon. I say hold ATM.

I held this share for over a year and not a lot happened, I sold yesterday and list half of my stake, I've been through 2 placings and they have raised money and I haven't seen a lot of where this money has gone.
I know people have their own opinions with fors and against, I can honestly say this had been the worst share I've held.
This is only my opinion and I wish anyone who is still holding all the very best but I'm out.

I originally invested around £10k in this stock back in 2013 as a speculative gamble. I wrote this off a long time ago but looked in again following the recent 33% increase. Today following dilution consolidation and dilution rinse and repeats my holding is now worth £2!!! Yesterday’s ridiculous placing to raise a pittance is more of the same. Please be careful before throwing more money at this company.

The open society and its enemies are one strand of this 1984 drama but it is also ironic that the rest of us are supporting the world`s largest polluter and thus supporting Leninism and its spending power.
