Yes, NOR, my choice doesn't detract from the investment case for GKP and and I'm nearly as nervous out as in but if if the Chinese have repeated the covid trick then all markets will tank again, as will Brent, when the flying stops again. We really have got a tiger by the tail hitching the fortunes of 9bn to the whim of a few million (CCP). Pretty stupid really, but politicians are and they are encouraging a whole generation to follow their madness with green, lazy, irrational wokery. The real world is starting to wake up to this crass stupidity (Hellmans, midget gems etc.)and it will stop when the economic pain gets too much to bear. The snowflakes are about to discover that there never was a free lunch on offer.

BTW. There's evidence that the Chinese dragon is running out of puff with its pullback from African investment. Even their pocket isn't limitless.

Best of luck OAP hope you get back in cheaper if nothing comes of it. Everyone is in different circumstances , for OAP his position in GKP was easy to sell , for me it isn't. At least today it isn't. Turbulent times , I am wary bravedogs observations fit with other stuff i'd rather not have to ponder on like the great re set .

If that's the case, GC, then I agree with you - no panic. But if it's not (and the CCP have form on this) and if it is a combination of Ebola and covid then there's every reason to panic. The weekend might put some more evidence on the slate either way and as I'm nicely in profit, no problem with losing a few pence for want of a bit more certainty. Might be back in Monday. We'll see.

The major holders didn't sell last time , that is why I didn't. Like I said if its worse in terms of death but not so transmissible then it wont be so bad , ie like Ebola .

The South China Morning Post has quite a bit on these lockdowns. It's not just one post and there are serious issues going from Shenzen to HK (neighbours) so it looks real enough to me. And the CCP have form on suppressing evidence.

OAP re the $ and what it is worth , the FED can print as much as it likes , the USA Gov has no idea how much Gold it has as that is under FED management, they might have sold it off ? so the future of the USA's fiat system has many ?'s .
