How's the biggest CON since Enron going fantasists?

I note there's more rhetoric about the Oil Law that's been coming for 15 years lol.

I see that h7 is spouting about getting it done as the Yanks need that to invest out there, lol. He's in denial of course as per usual that the Yanks and others have been leaving in droves down south and in the last great frontier and won't be returning.

There's an old member of the Penge street gang spouting about porosities and fractures in the Carbonates ignoring of course that also alows more than just oil to flow in. Evian will be watching closely. He reckons along with h7 that a deal was done years ago and Murray will be in the mix, its so amusing.

You clowns just don't understand the magnitude and costs that will be associated with solving the gas flaring problems that the hosts have pushed onto the oily's which they want done in under 18 months.

Meanwhile the reality is the share price continues its fall and is now close to my predicted 1.5p which even at that price will be well over the top based on the latest CPR.

Thanks for the entertainment clowns:-)

Erbil, Baghdad Agree to “Turn the Page” for Oil Cooperation
Basnews English 2021/08/09 - 12:05 Kurdistan

ERBIL — The government of Kurdistan Region and Iraq have agreed to begin a new round of efforts to boost cooperation on oil and gas between Erbil and Baghdad, according to an official statement.

Kurdistan Region’s Minister of Natural Resources, Kamal Atrushi, and Iraq’s Oil Minister Ehsan Abdul Jabbar met on Sunday in capital Baghdad to discuss the prolonged disputes over oil production and marketing.

Iraq’s Oil Ministry said in a statement after the meeting that Abdul Jabbar had expressed willingness to address the technical issues and financial disputes with counterparts in Erbil “in accordance with the [Iraqi] constitution”.

He also said that Baghdad is ready to “turn the page” and begin a new round of dialogue on the technicality of the outstanding issues in hopes of finding a solution that could serve the best interests of the Iraqis.

The initiative was well received by the Kurdish oil minister who hoped that the dialogues would also open new horizons in the bilateral relations between Erbil and Baghdad, the statement added.

Erbil and Baghdad announced that they reached an agreement last December to address their oil disputes, according to which the former is required to hand over 250,000 barrels of oil monthly and 50% of customs revenues to the Iraqi government, while the later should release Kurdistan’s share from the federal budget.

However, both sides blamed each other for not exactly fulfilling their duties under the agreement, which has only added to the prolonged disputes.

Kurdistan Iraq Krg Oil & Gas
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Kurdistan Regional Government and Iraq’s federal government will embark on a fresh start to solve outstanding issues in the energy sector, Iraq’s energy ministry said.

The new approach came during a meeting between KRG Minister of Natural Resources Kamal Atroushi and Iraqi Minister of Oil Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismaael in Baghdad on Sunday.

The Iraqi energy minister “welcomed cooperation with the KRG ministry of natural resources and expressed his ministry’s readiness to remove all the technical and financial barriers,” the statement read.

The official said he hoped discussions with the Kurdish region would turn a “new page” on energy issues.

Atroushi added that he hoped to improve bilateral ties with his Iraqi counterpart with an eye on mutual investment and joint projects, the statement added.

The two ministers stressed the importance of transparency in the energy sector across the country and placing the “national interest” above other considerations.

In carbonate reservoirs secondary porosity is very important, Dolomitization, dissolution and fracturing create new porosity. Exposure to meteoric water leads to
limestone dissolution. Natural Fracture networks greatly enhance
permeability.

NestAny friendly sale would have been agreed in principle a few years ago, giving buyers the opportunity to do their own tech DD to confirm field model. That would have involved both sides signing a Sale implementation agreement.,in private........the sale itself is completed ( in public ) by a short form amalgamation. That's how Bermuda m and a gets done. The KRG will want the deal done PRE any HCL.To bank their ill gotten gains without Baghdad having a say......or a slice....

They do need to do it if the current Government in Iraq wants to be re elected because they will need Kurdish support to do it. The issue in the past has always been disunity with the Kurds. Hopefully that has been resolved and both parties have also realised that time is running out for oil revenue long term.

The O&G Law may almost certainly be a requirement for any USA based INOC , who the Iraqi's have stated publically they want to attract, so they both have an incentive to agree this time.

Shafaq News/ Iraq's Minister of Oil Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar commended the endeavors for extending outreaches with the Ministry of Nature Resources of Kurdistan, expressing his Ministry's willingness to eliminate the technical and financial hurdles to preserve the "National wealth" of the entire Iraqi nation as stipulated by the constitution.

Abdul-Jabbar's statements came during his meeting with Kurdistan's Minister of Natural Resources, Kamal Hamid Atroshi, according to a readout issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil.

Minister Abdul-Jabbar said that the Federal Government and the Iraqi Ministry of Oil seek high transparency regarding the management of Iraq's oil resources, laying emphasis on "dialogue" and "the ultimate national interests" in dealing with the issues of contention between both parties.

The Minister of Oil expressed his hope that the meetings and dialogues with the region, especially after the inauguration of Minister Atroshi, would open a new page of serious objective dialogue to solve outstanding problems and serve the Iraqi people from north to south in accordance with the constitutional and statutory provisions that organize the rights of the governorates and regions.

For his part, Minister Atroshi hoped that the cooperation between the Ministries would lay the ground for a breakthrough in the bilateral relations that leads to optimal utilization of Iraq's natural resources and establishing joint and integrated projects.

Atroshi hinted at an actual willingness from the Minister and senior officials in the Federal Ministry of Oil to address the unresolved issues and formulate new agreements to push forward the oil and gas industry, and ultimately, the national economy and sustainable development.

Al-Atrushi indicated that during the meeting with the Minister of Oil and officials in the ministry, he sensed great cooperation and response to discuss and solve all outstanding problems between the center and the region, as well as activating new formulas and agreements that guarantee cooperation to develop the oil and gas industry in support of the national economy and sustainable development.
