There are rumors that the Budget will be passed on the 20th .

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Sherwan Mirza, said that "no one knows when the draft federal budget bill for 2021 will be presented to the parliament for a vote on it."

Mirza told {Al-Furat News}: "No one knows a date in the House of Representatives to vote on it, as well as the Finance Committee, but even Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi."

"During the next two days, a meeting will be held between the Presidency of the Council and the heads of parliamentary blocs regarding the remaining articles of the budget, and we hope that an agreement will be reached on it and presented to Parliament next week for a vote," he added.

Mirza continued, "We hope to reach an agreement between Baghdad and the Kurdistan region on the budget and the latter's share during the end of this week."

He stressed, "The Finance Committee has amended articles in the budget, which is within its powers, and the government has no right to object to it."

The Minister of Finance, Ali Allawi, said in a press statement yesterday that "there are no technical issues hindering the vote on the general budget for 2021, and we do not know its final form and we have provided additional positions on the budget to the Finance Committee."

And that "the provisions of the budget did not change much and the amendments made to the budget in the House of Representatives are acceptable."

The friendly takeover will b eannounced before Easter , At results March 31.HOWEVERDon't be surprised to see a hostile bid prior.

bravedog, beernut, bluehorse goodnightcharlie and his failed attempt to con you thickos that BBBS had returned, its hilarious. Pure desperation and now a new load of "old" takeover BS comprising sale by amalgamation and sale implementation agreements being dragged out?

Best you can hope for is a cheap merger or with 2/3 others involved. Makes sense for the hosts to only have to control one company rather than several imo. That way the Kon zel fantasy barrels that don't exist can stay hidden innit:-)

Any signs of the 55k a day? Will that now retreat further and into 2022? Any signs of an massively expensive and years to implement gas reinjection plan that will be required for any new FDP? Oil agreement?
