Four years on from the great wipeout and how much progress has been achieved? Virtually none however there has been many failures from all the hyped up predictions and plans. share price is where it is for several extremely important reasons. It has been said here that "some of the best financial brains in the world are invested". Could it be they play a different game or are they just as clueless as the rampers here? Do they know all the facts? The truth is out there if they care to look:-)

Not going to be any takeaway. The share price is where it is for several reasons. Too many issues with the company, asset, hosts and Baghdad.

Very cheap merger is the best shareholders can expect if it suits the hosts.

First reactions to the proposed Kurdish payment from members of the Iraq Parliament don't look good - this is from member Alaa al-Rubaie:

"I wouldn't be surprised if GKP closes at over £2 tomorrow , wouldn't bet on it but I suspect the budget share (even though it is just 33% of what it should be) is the key to a re-rate here".

So the share price was going to more than double and all because Baghdad are alleged to be going to send Erbil a small amount of money for the next few months. A comedy classic.

US Iraq Strategic Dialogue is Kadhimi top agenda

ERBIL — Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi reportedly has reportedly met with the commander of Iran’s Quds force, Ismail Qaani, in the recent days.

Izzat Shabandar, a Shia politician, wrote on Twitter that the Iranian top general was delivering a message to Kadhimi before his visit to the White House.

Shabandar did not elaborate on the details of the meeting, and there were no official meeting readouts available immediately.

Kadhimi is scheduled to fly to Washington on August 20 and meet with US President Donald Trump.

The US-Iraq Strategic Dialogue, which is hoped to outline the US military presence in Iraq, reportedly tops Kadhimi’s agenda in Washington.
