Iraqi lawmakers on Thursday approved the government's 2019 budget, which at $111.8 billion is one of the oil-rich country's largest ever spending bills.

So $270 million monthly is $3.2 , so no where near the $12.5 bill the KRI should be getting a year . Still it's a start .

Other MOCs will not stand by and watch Shaikan go for a song OAP. If a MOC has accrued lots of shares they they will gain by having a bidding war and losing it .Boon Pickten did just this in the 80's.

The short was started early June to put a cap on the rapidly rising share price at that time. Someone wants this vwap kept in check. I still favour a low takeout offer based on the vwap. Hope I'm wrong.

Why will it cost them as I would think they have shorted from the 2 quid mark and already made a load of cash with what they have closed.Also, people always assume they need to buy to close out but what if they are long with a hedged short... what goes up on one hand could easily cover the remaining short on the other and no mass panic to close out.

So we have a budget payment with no mention of Kurd oil being handed over. Is the Kurd oil part of the strategic alliance between Iraq and US. Be nice.

So Kadhimi is meeting Trump at the Whitehouse in 4 days and has set up the Kurd budget payment just before he goes. Let’s hope Exxon and Shaiken are part of the discussions.

Share price should pick up next week as things are finally looking good.

Voleon need to hurry and close that short or it’s going to cost em.

News out now - The #Iraqi government has decided to send 320 billion Dinars as part of #Kurdistan Region's share from the federal budget. This came after a phone call between Prime Minister @masrour_barzani
and his #Iraqi Counterpart @MAKadhimi

Broadford, transparency far too expensive for the hosts? They ensure they don't suffer so why agree to anything with Baghdad? There will never be any agreements that will last. Decades on and nothing has changed.
