07/10/2019 14:02 | And the first bit from Malcy on the Kurdistan trip but no mention of GKP yet. Genel Energy Genel has announced that Paul Weir, currently Group Head of Operations and safety at Tullow Oil, is to join the company as COO responsible for performance of operated and non-operated producing assets starting in January 2020. Those of us fortunate to be with Genel in Kurdistan last week will be aware of quite how much the company is gearing up growth from its existing portfolio, with significant high margin production from both Tawke and Taq Taq as well as significant potential from Sarta within twelve months and also both gas and oil from Bina Bawi in coming years. There will be much more to come on the visit but I have to say that even though this was not my first trip to the region it is clear that Genel have huge potential in an area that is clearly safe and has an excellent environment to reward reinvestment of significant cash flows. Let's see if he's as bullish on GKP after they had him for a fool before ð¤·ââï¸ | ![]() mcfly02
07/10/2019 14:01 | dec 2012 "So are we to assume that the recovery is around 25%. Thats disappointing as I was lookin for 30%-32%. Fact is I'll be a tad annoyed at 12ps as it should be much more with what all the sages have been telling us. But I'll get over it:-)" remember bigdog didn't get caught up in any hype and never bought over 1 | welshki
07/10/2019 13:57 | jan 2013.......but he didnt buy into the BS as he literally just said 80 per share......lol "But if we're all into this predicting game then I reckon some or all of GKP/Our assets will be sold either singularly or in total during 2013. And whats more they will either be sold to a single company or a consortium of companies with possibly GKP retaining a small or large percentage interest in some or all of the current licences. And I'll go even further and state that the sales will fetch anywhere between 50pence ps and 80ps depending on whether a percentage is sold or the whole fekkin lot" | welshki
07/10/2019 13:54 | another from june 2013 "TK will then have done something about the usual sound bite "shareholder value" Just an observation. If the share price was where it ought to be £5/£6+ he could pay himself whatever he likes as far as i'm concerned" | welshki

07/10/2019 13:26 | Hey frenchyfraud (and the Penge street gang of rampers) how does the dividend and open offer shares fare now against all the expensive ones that you rampers encouraged others to buy but are now wiped from your memories? I wasn't affected because I never bought high as I saw through all the BS. But there will be many that lost a lot of money because they believed in what you people were saying. How about those "losers"? Looks as though you've also managed to lose the "guilt". All about trying to save face and score points isn't it. Chinese/Urals, takeaway delayed again? Tomorrow? | ![]() bigdog5

07/10/2019 11:04 | Well the noteholders who received their shares for a dollar have made 22% in 3 yrs and imo they will be bought back on terms agreed in 2016 /and /or the awol 25%+ at around $2.80 making a 200%return. Remaining holders concentrated 33-100%+ on sale. | ![]() urals
07/10/2019 11:00 | It doesn't look as though the company's brokers are buying today, as yet. Have they now finished and are all the options covered? Most of the trades are small - probably p.i.'s re-investing dividends. | ![]() pensioner2
