And the first bit from Malcy on the Kurdistan trip but no mention of GKP yet.


Genel Energy
Genel has announced that Paul Weir, currently Group Head of Operations and safety at Tullow Oil, is to join the company as COO responsible for performance of operated and non-operated producing assets starting in January 2020.

Those of us fortunate to be with Genel in Kurdistan last week will be aware of quite how much the company is gearing up growth from its existing portfolio, with significant high margin production from both Tawke and Taq Taq as well as significant potential from Sarta within twelve months and also both gas and oil from Bina Bawi in coming years.

There will be much more to come on the visit but I have to say that even though this was not my first trip to the region it is clear that Genel have huge potential in an area that is clearly safe and has an excellent environment to reward reinvestment of significant cash flows.


Let's see if he's as bullish on GKP after they had him for a fool before 🤷‍♂️

Hey frenchyfraud (and the Penge street gang of rampers) how does the dividend and open offer shares fare now against all the expensive ones that you rampers encouraged others to buy but are now wiped from your memories? I wasn't affected because I never bought high as I saw through all the BS. But there will be many that lost a lot of money because they believed in what you people were saying. How about those "losers"?
Looks as though you've also managed to lose the "guilt".

All about trying to save face and score points isn't it.

Well the noteholders who received their shares for a dollar have made 22% in 3 yrs and imo they will be bought back on terms agreed in 2016 /and /or the awol 25%+ at around $2.80 making a 200%return. Remaining holders concentrated 33-100%+ on sale.

It doesn't look as though the company's brokers are buying today, as yet. Have they now finished and are all the options covered? Most of the trades are small - probably p.i.'s re-investing dividends.
