05/7/2018 13:16 | 🐶🐶 The company flagged in their annual report that they would seek to optimise capital structure for the benefit of the company and shareholders. What does that mean and what are the options? Currently the company is financed by around $229m of equity and $100m of debt ( that costs currently $10m annually of free cash to service ) They are generating at least 10 times that amount of free cash every year.. And have a massive cash mountain that grows every month. So in short they have far too much common equity and far too little debt. They could comfortably support 500m of debt. Options might be a large bond raise and large buy back of stock? Perhaps a preference share issue swapping fixed interest shares for common equity? Be interesting to see what they come up with. Anything that concentrates common equity pre trade sale magnifys shareholder returns | therealminotaur
05/7/2018 13:13 | Looks as though OM63 is suggesting that there are one or two major "issues" to be sorted out. Didn't I suggest that the massive fall off of production was evidence enough that all couldn't possibly be great at the asset? Would a new FDP suggest the original isn't going to work due to these "issues"? Is this the reason why naff all has been done 10 months after first announcing the plan because these "issues" are perhaps more complicated than was thought? Could it be that a great deal more work will be required in order to reach 40k/55k a day? Is this why Pareto have been brought aboard and there's a great deal more money required in order to achieve the "clear pathway"? Only mulling of course:-) | ![]() bigdog5

05/7/2018 09:54 | The one thing that both myself and any potential buyers have in common is we both need to have questions answered and that can only come from the field itself and not a spin doctor. Time will tell. I might stick some recent photos up of SH later. | oilman63 |
